Yes there is speaking in tongues, which is said to be our unique language to God. During worship there is speaking in tongues and some people receive visions such as the holy spirit surrounding the earth or other very symbolic things that i can't remember. It makes me love God even more when I hear these testimonies, I live how Gpd pictures things for us :).

There is also healing taking place at the altar through the power of the holy spirit. One time my mom asked for prayer about her fear and she said she saw a vision of an explosion of light. Now she hardly ever gets scared (she used to get panic attacks when she was by herself but not anymore)

However, I have never experienced recieving a vision or speaking in tounges. Another time my mom saw a vision of our family being protected around a cross surrounded by flames. She saw angels dancing on our house lol. Anyway..I'm getting off topic. I find nothing wrong with Assemblies of God churches. I believe they stay pretty close to what the bible says.
