To begin with its not your fruit. It belongs to someone else. And getting it would be trespassing on private property.

Or think of it this way. You can only wear one pair of shoes at a time, so in theory if you have more than one pair of shoes the pair your not wearing is at that moment going to waste. There are people in this world who have no shoes. Why shouldn't you let the neighborhood homeless guy wear your shoes when your not? Or extra clothes, or use your car when your not, anything your not using at that moment. Or what about the things you just don't use anymore and haven't given away?

You bought it, you bought the rights to use it as you see fit, or to not use it, did you not? Even though there are people out there who need all of those things.

Of course. The same goes with the fruit. You can't honestly tell me you give away everything you don't need. Because the money you used to pay for your computer and internet access and your time, could be better served buying fruit that's for sale and giving it to those starving masses.
