But there is a difference..He was doing His Fathers work
He didnt have a fixed abode
Didnt have a job
Didnt have even a tomb to be buried in
Accepted donations etc.
Y ?
By todays standards what would He be considered?
Quoting: wildhoney Well he wouldn't be grouped in with the lazy bums getting free food, housing, medical care, cell phones, etc. without showing one bit of gratitude and howling for more, more, more, never showing any inclination to work or contribute to society. He deserved donations because he was DOING SOMETHING. Ministering to people. Healing people. That's WORK. He wasn't sitting on his fat ass contributing nothing to the well-being of people and society, demanding others pay for his every need. Keep Jesus out of the equation. We're talking about people. Since i am pretty clueless do correct me if i am wrong..didnt He say what you do to them..even to the least amng them..you do to me?
