It's very obvious that MO does not need permission from anyone to do anything.

Of course they do. But this is in the context of women/wives being homemakers. Which then logically presupposes that the man is out working - right? They can't both be staying home (unless they are already wealthy).

No, it's not the womans fault, but if more women were able to be homemakers, more little boys would go up knowing how to properly treat women, and not be lazy, or sports heads, or video addicts, etc. They would be learning how to cook, clean, garden, etc. so that when they leave home they know how to boil an egg. There is no greater or lesser fault of the sexes. It's a fault of liberalism and the doing away of roles in society. So, now men are less than men/husbands and women are less then women/wives.

I cooked three meals a day, five days a week for my man, all summer long!

It was a great experience.

He really likes my cooking, that makes me feel really good.

That is up to each person to decide for themselves. I am a good mom and a good provider. I work at those two things as hard as I can.

My wife can't cook anything beside scrambled eggs.... I do most of cooking. Oh well.

I tell people that are struggling to try it. Me and gf been doing it since we met.

Seafood is our favorite. I grill a perfect swordfish.

Anyways when I'm busy she cooks though even though she's a nurse and works a lot.

Sunday food is important, even I get up and scramble eggs and make bacon and homemade biscuits. Not bs bacon, I go to the butcher for meats.

Butter, jelly and apple butter on the table. That is one thing I hope to always do for the kids.

I'm a woman and I HATE cooking. After working all day, I'd rather come home and eat a sandwich or a can of soup than squander one single minute in the kitchen. Then there's the clean up. I hate cleaning the kitchen even more than cooking. I deserve more out of live than to be a fucking maid!!!

Restaurants are for a reason.

I cook, clean and pretty much run the house. My husband and I are both very traditional. We've been married for 34 years, and we do swap roles occasionally. I can use power tools, have painted the entire house, put most of the flooring in, etc.,. but we both appreciate our more gender specific roles. He's the major breadwinner, and I'm the major housekeeper. I was fortunate to be at home to raise our children. When their educations were complete, I went back to school to earn my degrees. I LOVE cooking for him. It makes us both happy.

Oh yeah, I make great waffles (the real key to a long and happy marriage :)

I most definitely belong in the kitchen at my house! I love cooking, laundry, and even the stuff I don't like, I do with a smile because I'd rather be working at home for my family than a big corporate office like I used to.
My husband is in charge around here! :)

And a man just loves to mow the lawn, or work on your car. This goes both ways don't forget. We ALL must do things we don't "like" to do. But that is called life. To not do what is required of us, no matter how unpleasant, is the worst of all selfishness of the ego centered life.

Most women would happily return to their kitchens if they could afford to!
