OK, I may have just saw it a little clearer. It is a form of higher self. The problem is, these labels can lead to different thought constructs.

For example, it may be similar to a Guardian Angel, but GA may be a manifested form of the higher self.

Also, if it were world wide, then it took place before present known history. (?) By that I mean prior to or in the era of Mesopotamia, Egypt, etc.
