LONDON - The BBC said on Thursday its broadcasts were being disrupted in the Middle East and Europe. It did not say who was interfering with the signal.

"The BBC, together with a number of other broadcasters, is experiencing deliberate, intermittent interference to its transmissions to audiences in Europe and the Middle East," it said in a statement.

So its just the silly muzzies in syria, iran, libya and what not. This would not surprise me at all considering all the chaos going on over there.

it does say europe as well. Probably means Turkey, maybe syria is doing it or iran....

only a country with no proper government, or one in chaos/civilwar would let people broadcast relatively high wattage transmissions on tv frequencies and not get taken down by the local authorities.

They could actually be worried if enough people noticed the disruption...they would have to come clean.

One can't very well go over the airwaves assuring people everything is normal while that very message is being disrupted.
