If Rmoney hadn't said "Let Detroit Go Bankrupt" and if he wasn't so labor-hostile he wouldn't be so screwed in Ohio. Ohioans aren't keen on Bain's vulture capitalism, either. |

Ohio was in the tank the first half of Obammy's term until they voted in Repubs at the state level and then they went to work. Now its coming around slowly and the people there know it was because of Repub policies at the state level that saved them. Romney will win Ohio hands down. Notice that there are NO local polls from Ohio itself - just national polling agencies using 2008 projections which show it a dead heat. Watch. Obama is finished. |

I predict Romney wins close to 300 electoral votes with 51.7 percent popular. |

abeliever Members User ID: 17868616 United States 10/18/2012 02:36 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes, Obama very nearly threw away the election with his weak performance in the first debate but he's still ahead regardless of this scary new Gallup poll and this is why. 1) We always knew the polls were going to tighten at some point. 2) Romney lost the lost debate. Badly, in my opinion, with 65 million people watching, and this will show up as people are polled post-debate. This Gallup poll doesn't reflect that. 3) Obama is still leading where it counts - the swing states and especially Ohio. If Rmoney closes the gap in Ohio then I'll worry. 4) Presidents are elected by the electoral college, not by national polls. Obama could very well lose the popular vote and still win the election. 5) Romney is losing every major city in America and every region of the country except the south. If Obama wins the west, north, and east then it really doesn't matter if Mittens wins the south 99-1 (electoral votes are what count). 6) Obama is winning big among women and minorities and the last debate increased that lead. 7) The economy is steadily improving and unemployment is dropping. 8) America isn't quite that stupid. Your information is very outdated. 1) Tighten yes, anyone can make up polls to skew #s. 2) Romney lost the debate by a very small margin. Obama lost a lot because he showed his cards to the NRA. Romney won BIG on the first one. Biden looked like an idiot in the VP debate and lost that one. 3) No. Actually Romney has Ohio now. It's Virginia they are concerned about. 4) Yes, however, Romney is gaining there daily. 5) Totally wrong. Very wierd. 6) Nope, women have had it with Obama. Believe me. His lies are annoying every woman. 7) The economy hasn't improved, it's housing # that make it look like it's improving when in fact people are rushing to close to avoid the realestate taxation Obama will put in place in January. 8) Correct America isn't stupid, they're fed up with Obama and his lies. He will be a one term president. |
