A German man said to be the leader of a UFO-conspiracy theory sect was arrested after a gun battle on a Caribbean island in which another German man was killed, a German woman arrested and at least three police officers wounded.

Peter Brunck is said to be the leader of the Academy for Future Health, which until May, had run a website talking about the coming “perfection” of the world and conspiracy theories about world governments hiding decades of contact with aliens.
