I know it wasn't a perfect rendition, but let's face it, at least PJ brought to life one the most inspiring pieces of literature written in the last century. Had he not this generation and many others would not have even known the wonders of Middle Earth and it's occupants. It's not exactly required reading in public schools, unfortunately.

I can't wait for the Hobbit to hit the screens. It's inspiring my kids to read the books.
