We made the ego, and when we see through the ego we make an 'image' of ourselves, and then we also make an 'image' of everyone else.

And when we think we are interacting with others we are often mixing our images of that person which are images we made, with the truth of that person, and we get something that is mostly untrue.
And then we form an 'opinion' or judgment of people and things based on these faulty methods of observing.

And when we are in that control by our ego, we don't see others as unique individual creations of God, who are all a manifestation of God, instead we see the 'image' we made of that 'person' as if it actually was the real person.
And we end up interacting with that image instead of the real person.

What is the real me, and you?

It isn't the ego. The ego is not even real. Its an illusion.

What is real can only be the part of us that is always connected to God.

And Jesus says our conscious self is connected to God but it loses its way when it starts experiencing itself as the ego manipulates it to see.

Therefore we, through our conscious self (which chooses for us) have to learn to choose to be guided by the Teacher and Guide God gave to us when He saw we had made the ego.

When God saw that we had made the ego, immediately He knew that would be trouble for us, and we would not find our way back Home to Him, and so immediately He gave us His Own Voice to be with us in our minds; which is the Holy Spirit/ Christ self to guide us back to Him.

Jesus is teaching us with his discourses available on his website how to connect to our Christ self.

And there are also books from him which I am also studying.

But we have to learn about and know these things about us or else they only remain potentials in us.
As they have been for countless lives. We have to wake up.
