It's more the fact they try to prove you stupid because they believe the source with more "background/substance". I'm thinking of a one liner in particular that would have them thinking and enter contemplative thought (theory) that might have them view things differently.

It's not that I'm not proud to believe in conspiracy, it's just that because the MSM likes to pick some of the crazier "fringe" conspiracy theories and elude facts when talking about the larger scaled ones, it makes the sheep believe they are the ones who are right. I know the mechanisms which make people more group minded, and why they do this/why people believe conspiracy 'theorists' are nuts and how the entire population of earth has been psychologically brainwashed to a certain extent...

But being able to sit down and discuss someone who calls you a conspiracy theorist afar is a bit difficult, and even in a close seating arrangement are unlikely to be able to absorb information. When I talk to my mum about 9/11 she says things like 'you're so negative' and 'you're just like your dad' as if that's a bad thing (we believe in the conspiracies with substance etc.) and then often says things like 'everything's a conspiracy theory isn't it' and then she laughs and makes fun of me. But if I tried to talk to her about the group mentality and psychological conditioning she doesn't want to know about it...

Show the who owns the media and what other companies and governments they own.

Meh, I give up. Some people never want to wake up. End of story.

Conspiracy theory often becomes conspiracy fact, sinking of the Maine, Gulf of Tonkin, Iraq WMDs to name a few.

This, or show them how the G'ment lies in other cases, and make them usually walk away with a "I cant believe it" look on their face.

ie fuel tax and current state of AU roads, or how they lie before being elected.

Or just realist.

Take it as a compliment, just say "thank you" and move about your day.

The way I see it, we know what we know. We are sure about what we know, in as much as it aligns with our own personal logic and reasoning. Why take this compliment any other way? Someone just told you that you have beliefs that aren't with in the mainstream, a non sarcastic "thank you" will help them out of their paradigm much faster than fueling a fire.

Considering that I give no merit to theories and work only with facts, I would say that I am more of a Conspiracy Worker.

I would then have to pose to them that one would have to ask themselves why conspiracy and theory are so often associated with one another psychologically.

Im not a consiracy theorist. I am a conspiracy realist. Conspiracies really do happen. I don't need to make someone else feel like shit for not believing, but only a fool would think that the hugely powerful people who run the world don't "conspire" to keep and increase their power and control.

for instance, when i bring up something 'conspiratorial', many a response is, 'the govt would tell us or it would be on the news.'

but then, when you show them the govt admitting chemtrails and spraying of populations, they just brush it off like the govt didnt just tell them, which was what they supposedly wanted....

still on the spraying thing, even former fbi chief ted gunderson said they have to stop spraying (then died). is he high enough to warrant 'being told'?

so in summation, a sheep says the govt would tell them but when the govt tells them they think the govts are liars.

I do not care what other people think of me. They're usually not even worth talking to really if they would be so closed minded to try and put you down because you think of a theory.

The only opinion that really holds any merit in my life is that of my dog, and he is always approving.

This is why I put all of my 'theories' (or most of them anyway) in apostrophe's, because they are conspiracy facts in my book, at least due to the enormous amount of evidence that the normalcy has no light on.

The thing is guys, it's too hard to sit down and have a logical discussion with someone when they keep making jokes with their friends around you etc. Or if they do it from a distance and you have to say a one liner to not look pathetic and weak...

OP, it is a matter of social programming that you're fingering against and it is a bitch to fight against so my advice would be not to fight against it but rather to get to know more about the human psyche and the social effects society has on it.

Work smarter, not harder.

And you'll be far more effective when you learn to like yourself.
