Somebody in the comments told him to finish school first and get an education before going into the NFL. I understand, but does a 17 yr old? Go to school, and sit there all day dreaming about how you could be playing pro ball right now and making fistfulls of money and banging cheerleaders! I just don't see that happening. |

I just don't see that happening. Have to do a couple years of college to get in the NFL. Don't graduate though kid. Go make the money. You can finish school when you're older. That would be my advice. |

Now, there is a big difference between a high school football and the footballs they use in the NFL. Not takin anything away from the kid, but lets put the NFL comparisons to bed. Destroy all that is evil, so what is good may flourish. Guns cause crime like flies cause garbage. KCCO |

He is going to have so many college/football opportunities now, he had no idea what door he kicked wide open with that field goal. Good job :) Quoting: Seagal5 yeah, I'd want to check his stats and scout him a little to make sure it wasn't dumb luck, but otherwise it seems he would be the #1 kicking prospect in college football after his senior year of high school. A great kicker who can kick accurate, long field goals, can be a real game changer and make a huge difference in wins and losses especially if a team tends to lose closely. |

Good job :) Quoting: Seagal5 The record doesnt mean shit for NFL...i just looked up Dirk Borgognone...the guy with the better record of 68 yards...played for Green Bay packers in 95...retired 95 LOL "The kick measured 68 yards, and was longer than any that had ever been successfully kicked in the NFL or the NCAA.[1] Borgognone was thereafter relegated solely to kicks of over 50 yards after his kick and missing all eight of his subsequent attempts, not kicking a single successful field goal the rest of his high school career [link to en.wikipedia.org] |

I just don't see that happening. Dumb, go straight to the NFL when you have a talent like this. And you are not going to be taking hits negatively affecting your health. Develop some more skill, he possibly could be a starter right out of high school. In a few years he would be pulling in over a million a year, and would be able to do so into his 40s... Fucking dream life. The kickers life is fucking awesome. Kid is lucky has hell to be born with that talent, in this country, during this time. |

I know the one guy is wrong though, you do not have to ever have attended college to play in the NFL. I don't understand this rule at all. The kid can serve in the army and fight a war but not kick field goals in the nfl? Dumb dad dumb dumb dumb. |
