42 months = 1260 days
1 day = 1yr so 1260 years
1 Lunar month=30 days
1YR = 30 X 12= 360 days

So working back again to show you 3 1/2 years which are jubilee years we have 1260 regular years / 360 = 3.5 jubilees years

The time of the gentiles again in revelation we see it is 42 monhts

42 months = 1260 days
1 day = 1yr so 1260 years

Ten years after Herod's death (4 BCE), Judea came under direct Roman administration. The continual aggression was perpetuated by Nero who raised a false flag blaming hebrew believers in messiah for burning of Rome.However in 66 A.D. the jewish people instigated a rebellion against Roman rule. In 70 A.D., after a 143-day siege which began at Passover, a Roman military force consisting of about 30,000 troops under the command of Titus battered the walls and entered the city. They destroyed everything, including Herod's Temple, exactly as spoken by Jesus Christ 40 years earlier. The population and the great number of Passover visitors who had been trapped there were brutally slaughtered, with an estimated 600,000 to 1,000,000 people killed. Roman General Titus took the precious booty and treasury of the Jerusalem Temple back to Rome, where many suspect it remains to this day. (arch of Titus)

The Roman army then moved over to the city of Caesarea (named after Caesar) on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea where a great many more jewish people were killed. Over 90,000 were taken captive, including the famous historian Flavius Josephus who recorded the events of that era in his work, Wars of The jewish people.

By 70 A.D., Jerusalem and Judea were left desolate, most of the people either killed or being held in captivity, or had become refugees fleeing to remote lands. All that remained in Israel was the defiant little garrison atop the mount at Masada, a fortress complex south of the Dead Sea, which was built by Herod the Great.

Thus when the Temple was destroyed in A.D. 70 the period of the second exile began. (Diaspora) The Judean people were soon to be scattered throughout the earth. For the next 1900 years the true Jeus would have no authority in the land God gave to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

NOTES:Daniel calls it a time when the power of the holy people will be “scattered” (cp. Acts 8:1, 4). The abomination that brought desolation was the open rebellion of the FALSE Jewish leadership and alliances to Rome who approved of Stephen’s murder. The high priest and the Sanhedrin effectively set themselves up in authority opposing the authority of God. This brought the desolation of the city of Jerusalem and the Temple.

The abomination and desolation already is in effect because it happened at the killing of messiah and stoning of stephen then the destroying of the temple in 70ad as seen in daniel 9:27.
