You really stretched that one out there didnt you.I doubt they need to cover 3 million miles now do they.They would only need to cover the area the problem was in at the time. Must be some reason they dont care how much ammo nutty people buy.when the time comes I would guess people will see why. Don't think so. Government can either control in depth or in breadth. The choice is an inch wide and mile deep or a mile wide and an inch deep. Control one area a mile deep and another area pops up a thousand miles away. As much as people like you wish it so government isn't omnipotent. Nor does any government have unlimited resources. The more they tighten the fist the weaker the grasp. They do care how much ammo "nutty people buy", they just can't stop it. If "they" didn't care "they" wouldn't keep trying to stop it. And they wouldn't have bought billions of rounds themselves.
