Okay I was drunk. All my good stories start with that.

So I put a band aid on it and went to sleep. It was still bleeding in the morning.

Now let me impart the lesson onto you that I learned from this- butterfly bandages. They are the best stitches outside the ER. And so I did not go to the ER that day.
