You did good, right up to the 'ad hominem' remark. No one on this site seems to actually know the true meaning of the phrase. Please, do not assume here, look it up.
Other than that, you are right on! The OP is just itching to fire off his brand of evolutionary garbage. These types can only use the 'it's so VAST! You have no idea!" argument to defend their positions.
