Good diagram, it seems the swarm is off the Northern coast but it looks like it could be right along the slash line. Also, someone responded to my question, that swarm started several days ago, so then I figured I should just switch my question around, did the Iceland Swarm trigger the 6.6 in Vanauta

i think maybe the spot arrowed here in the MAR is where we need to watch..

look at the interesting little group of earthquakes circled as well. magma has forced it's way into the MAR, and the west side must be a lot weaker, and has given way, but even the east side is being affected as well. all that has happened here imho is an area of weakness in the rock has been closed up by the immense forces pushing up from the deep.

basically, the american continent just got a bit denser



be interesting to see what this does now, to all the volcanoes.

There is no permafrost in Iceland and as for this quake swarm a geologist says that quakes in this area are not a precursor to volcanic eruptions, just some rearranging of rock layers down below.

this is the mantle plume head getting busy. we've had swarms like this to the south as well.

iceland is building to MAJOR volcanic activity, without a doubt.
