Well went to sleep and woke up and im still here :) and really nothing to report. Most damaged was the things falling of the walls, none real damage has been reported.

Check out the Seismos [link to hraun.vedur.is] ..they are being picked up all over Iceland.

I have just been on Volcano Cafe, there is a blog post up about what's going on...some of the resident experts will be all over this today...

some comnents on there are suggesting that all this is techtonic in nature...however, someone else has said that the area of quakes is at the spot of an old submerine volcano...

Swarms going on in central California and Iceland!

I slept a full night's sleep, showered, and am having my morning coffee while waiting on Football...and Iceland is still there.

Thought a lot of you guys said Iceland was doomed...?

Oh yeah, it's because you don't know when something is going to actually happen.

I admire those who take the time to research, and observe things going on, and...

...but I loathe all of you, who try to make things out to be a big deal before they are.

You're just as bad as the "brainwashed sheep" you guys want to fight against so.

2 sets of sheep, on 2 different sides of the fence... while people like myself, just sit on the fence pondering things, and thinking about things that COULD happen, and wondering what the next big event will be... and watching you assholes on each side of your sheep pens, fight with each other about who's thoughts are right, and who's predictions are right.

All people like myself want, are people to THINK...be open minded... not make false claims and jump to wild conclusions everytime this earth twitches. I get it, one day shit is going to go south...but no one knows when. Don't you think there have been people just like us, who have talked about this kind of shit for decades, pre-internet? The internet, has made it easier to find out more info about things going on in, and around this world. And through that same tool, now everyone has to claim that everything they see is the end... "It's beginning"... "it has begun"... "This is it"...are the most overused phrases on here [besides "tard", "shill" or "moran"] ...and maybe it is the beginning of the end, but yoooooooou, don't fucking know it for sure.

I'm aware, that a lot of people do it just to get attention, and they know they have their own set of sheep that will follow blindly their theories and claims of doom... just like their will always be sheep who believe the government does no wrong.

Instead of wasting your lives, worrying about what COULD happen, or MIGHT happen... you should observe, and be aware of things, obviously [Which is the lone reason I come back to this page, and weed through the mountains of garbage]... but find time in life to enjoy what time there is... because even if large scale doom doesn't get you... Death is the doom we're all destined for, regardless of how we get to it.

And what makes you so sure? Greece may be the next one... Name just one bank which would "forgive and forget" your debt. And there is many of them involved with mega $$$. They are the ones who really run this world.

Where are the posts of "a lot of guys saying Iceland was doomed"? Point us to them?

One of two people shared some slightly alternative ideas but I cannot see lots of guys saying anything that would even remotely justify your post.

Iceland has had multiple EQ swarms recently, of which this is the latest and most impressive, and it is an indication that magma is rising up into the mar in advance of some of the worst volcanism this planet has seen in 250 years

Just had the first bigger than a 3 for a couple of hours. Scientists confirm harmonics prove activity is tectonic in nature and not volcanic. Larger quakes, anything up to a 7.0 not been ruled out at this time but certainly not guaranteed.

Now a swarm in mainland Spain.

It's gone eerily silent all of a sudden.

Started off again about 15 minutes ago with half a dozen around mag 2. Seemed to have a "break" for nearly an hour with no earthquakes measured at all!
