maybe but the chosen are repeatedly in the forefront of declaring a management state.
Hitler was a feeble reflection of the Marxist states bodycount. One wonders why, even in Communist china, they were with mao from day one, and continue to this day at the helms of power and media.
I wonder aloud if they allow anyone else dual citizenship with PRC and Izzyland.

Your a bit confused. The caption would be more suited to Fascism. The first socialists were humans huddled together in caves for warmth and security. The idea of huddling alone in the darkness would have been pretty scary.
All societies are based on socialism. There are people who believe that they, as individuals, have a right to own everything on earth including all food, water and energy. The idea (to them) that other people living on the planet are entitled in any way to those resources, without paying tribute to the self appointed owners is called SOCIALISM. Also Obama doesn't really fit in with Hitler and Stalin because he's not a member of the Multi millions murder member club.

PEOPLE are sociable,
GOVERNMENTS are socialist, as far as what they say, but the managers are never satisfied to live like those they rule over.
When the managers live next to the janitors maybe then it will be sincere, but not until then, and not while they live in govt appointed luxury

very interesting film!

 Quoting: Sharty Mc Bean

Correct history of socialism always goes like below :

HOUR 1: THE RISE
HOUR 2: REVOLUTIONS
HOUR 3: DIRECT INVASION ATTEMPT BY 'LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD' AT THAT POINT IN TIME (UK FIRST, THEN USA - LIKE IN RUSSIA 1917 - THEY EVEN USED POISON GAS)
HOUR 4: IF #3 FAILS, DIRECT TERRORISM (KENNEDY'S TERROR OPERATIONS IN CUBA)
HOUR 5: IF #4 FAILS, IMPORTED 'FREEDOM FIGHTER' GUERILLAS (ALL SOUTH AMERICA, LIBYA, SYRIA
HOUR 6: IF #5 FAILS, 'INTERVENTION FOR HUMANITARIAN PURPOSES' TO BOMB SUPPORTED GUERILLAS INTO POWER
HOUR 3: THE COLLAPSE

in 1960s, kennedy administration's biggest worry was how well USSR was developing, lifting itself to 2nd world standards from 3rd world standard in just 2-3 decades, and how other countries were taking ussr as a model for development. therefore locking american rich and their corporations out. their memos show that they were most annoyed by this 'taking matters into own hands' by the local population.

the rest of the kennedy internal memos show a VERY distasteful, sociopathic discussion of measures to 'make example of' whichever country dared break away from american corporations' stranglehold. and these were implemented in vietnam (agent orange) and cuba (the illegal trade blockade which forces country to use cars from 1950, because usa prevents them trading with anyone). usa spends $458 million freaking dollars every year JUST for checking if there is any cargo going to cuba in ports around the world. thats how valuable taxpayer money is to the corporations and their rich - they waste it for their own purposes without blinking.

so in the end cuba is still being 'made an example of', and american right can easily say that 'look what socialism did to cuba', despite it is the american navy which is still enforcing an illegal blockade with american taxpayer money, that is doing that to cuba. and then the right wing can use this lie to fool american people to vote for themselves, in order to keep the cycle up.

And if you go way back to 1917, youll find even more disturbing things - 'leader of the free world' great britain (it was the top dog back then) invaded russia in 1917 with 18 other countries in order to do what, you think ? to repress the people, who were revolting against an oppressive aristocracy and tzar, to reinstall that aristocracy back to repress them. for FREEDOM Of course. usa also joined that invasion and invaded russia, and occupied cities in eastern russia for a while.

so much that, the 'allies' did not hesitate from using poison gas on CIVILIAN population in russia. before that time, winston churchill (another highly dangerous sociopath in history) was saying that poison gas and similar stuff were stuff that could only be used in 'lesser people' anywhere around the world but europe. (he publicly said that). but it seems, in russia, they didnt have that hesitation when the wealth of aristocracy was in danger.

...............

such is the history of socialism. any country which tried socialism, had to fight against unholy alliances of aristocratic/elitist countries, which were maintaining huge armies by exploiting their OWN taxpayers, by fooling them. just like how the american rich are fooling americans through their corporations today. look at afghanistan : haliburton et al is maintaining an illegal occupation there, to control poppy fields, and an oil pipeline. and they are doing that by taxpayer money, using it to pay those citizens to send them to war to die for their own profit. and their corporate brainwashing outlets ( read as : news networks) are doing what brainwashing is needed to keep people 'patriotic'.

its the same cycle of aristocrats vs peasants - it continues and repeats over and over again since dawn of time. and it will continue until all of the population, including the right wing conservatives in society, realizes that they are being exploited by being manipulated.

We have just had a merger and a down-sizing where I work, and so far everyone except two have found other jobs before the cut loose date, which is 10/31. Those two will probably find work shortly once they start looking. They don't aspire to manager's jobs. The job of manager requires a different set of skills than most people want or care to learn. I certainly do not want to be a manager.

All you have to know is that the American Communist party doesnt have a candidate of their own, they state that OBlather is perfect enough for them.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25390958

Probably because they are rethinking whether they really want the government to own absolutely everything, as communism does. That can't be a modern viewpoint anymore since it has failed so often in history and brought so much suffering. They are probably Communist in name only, not in reality.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14408911

That's not it at all. They know that Obama's a red diaper baby. He was born to a family that was involved in the underground communist movement. His mentors were Frank Marshall Davis, an actual Soviet agent, and Saul Alinsky, a Zio-Marxist agent. His chief advisor, Valerie Jerrett, comes from a hardcore commie family.

He is an actual, real communist.

Re: The history of Socialism!
According to my research socialism has three basic tenets:
Wife sharing, destruction of the family unit and opposing ALL forms of religion. The wife sharing is a little knowm practice of must socialist regimes. It was listed in the "Communist Manifesto" in it's original edition but this concept was altered in later editions.
While no form of gov't is perfect, socialism to me seems like a bad idea for the general population, while giving the upper-level bureaucrats a really good life style.
But all forms of governments are only as good or bad, based on the input and participation of the citizens. If we fail to become "enlightened" about the people who run our country, we can expect a poor result. GIGO. But personally give me democracy any day.

— Robert Anson Heinlein

The majority in this thread are clearly in favor of tyranny: a violent monopoly forced upon peaceful people.

As long as the majority of people continue to believe that the best idea is to create a ruling class who are exempt from the rules they create for the rest of society, these are the types of results one should expect.

When anyone wants to gain at the expense of others, all one has to do is go to the ruling class who are already exempt from the rules and gain their favors.

This is the 'hole in the boat', 'the weakest link in the chain' through which the corruption flows.

Once you establish a group of people who are exempt from the rules, you've already created the corruption - the source of inevitable failure.

This is the root problem shared by a republic, state-democracy, state-capitalism, state-socialism, and state-communism and why the aforementioned will continue to fail no matter how many times (and in how many different forms) they are attempted.

I watched this from beginning to end; told relatives about it.

The democrat party IS as socialist as it can get away with.

The whole idea of socialism is to take over a country from within, by enlisting the population's cooperation. There is nothing noble or peaceful about what they intend to do.

Banned as usual.

“It is far easier to be a weakling than to be a Real Man. Were the Earth less harsh or the circumstances of life less austere, man would destroy himself before the shrine of the languid goddess. Only Real Men can with safety destroy the tangled forests and wilderness of Earth and make from them gardens, but will those who inherit the gardens be Real Men? The law decrees that they must be, or the wilderness will reclaim its own.”
