If you Grow up being the shy-ist kid on the block,you might not develop great communication, vocabulary and writing skills, as you avoid many conversations as a youth. Quick witted I am not.

I never enjoyed talking to audiences. Even skipped presentations in high school and college.

Nor do I wish to speak to crowds in the future.

The only consolation in that, is that Moses had a similar affliction: EXODUS 4:10 - " Moses said to the Lord, “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.”
