40 Reasons To Ban Guns.. (edit..This is a PRO GUN THREAD, actually read it before commenting)

I wouldn't mind hearing from anybody who thinks a gun ban would be a good thing, but without being nasty about it. I truely want to understand the mindset.

I know its make me what to scream like what michael jackson makes you what to scream huh and theres one reason why they want to ban guns they think its dangours so what people use then all the time my god some people are nicompoops.

I can honestly say I can understand the banning assault rifle arguement, not that I agree, I can understand and that is a good debate.

How many criminals go to a retail gun store to purchase their piece? Not many, and if they succeed that is the fault of the G system.

What I would love to know is how in the hell are some of these documentary makers live with themselves while driving around town with the "gangstas"? The stupid drug dealer/pimp daddy says, I will shot a guy in the face..yada yada... but the film maker does nothing.. No turning the guy in, nothing.. I thought most hollywoods were liberals?

Someone asked me why guns are legal in another forum. Here's what I told them:


Every fight, argument, conflict and war that has ever existed or ever will exist is because of control. You can dress it up however you like, but the fact remains.

Next time you get in an argument, really try to give it some critical thinking little brother. Are you trying to control someone, or is someone trying to control you?

You can either resist someones attempts to get you to do something against your will, or you can capitulate. If you choose to resist, it's all about how far you are willing to go.

If someone breaks into my house and threatens my family, I must resist until my last breath. If he has a gun, I will lose. If I have a gun, it's a relatively fair fight.

If everyone has a gun then crime drops, because criminals don't want to die usually. Or fight a fair fight obviously. That was the point of the post about the town that has mandatory gun ownership laws and the lowest crime rate in the United States. I'll stop supporting gun laws (meaning gun rights) when there are no criminals.

Now, if you're government decides it wants you to do something unreasonable best believe they are going to use a gun. I know you missed the history lesson in my first post, so here's the cliff notes.

England and what was the colonies went to war. blah blah. U.S. is established and the new government says "hey citizens, don't take any shit from a tyrant. keep your guns."

Essentially, protect yourself from unreasonable attempts at control even if it's us. Pretty fucking cool for a government.

Why so much gun violence? Irresponsible people with guns. Why so many guns? The people that put this country together, and fought to the death to protect it, wanted their citizens to act like adults. So they treated them like adults and didn't tell what they can and can't do. The laws they put in place were to prevent people from controlling other people. Freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom to keep and bare arms..."say what you want, think what you want, and defend you're RIGHTS to do so...even from us".
