Tarot Readings... (Currently closed..)

Continuing from last night.. Here was the resulting card spread so you can follow along and see what is going on.

We did the initial card counting, and ended up with 12 cards (if you include the Significator which represented Guenwyfar, the Princess of Cups.)

I already posted the card list which was in the earth pile of cards, along with the values that they count, and the order of the counting (the direction the princess faces), etc., and I will recap all of this later in a moor comprehensive and understandable post..

We formed a small "crude story" from the cards that were counted onto, and posted that (I was pretty drunk, so it could have been much better.. lol)

But in a nutshell, it was Bartender coming in and crapping over this thread, which was obvious to me after seeing the Fool and Devil. :)
(When I did a quick reading on him, he was the Fool and also the Devil on both sides of dealing from the deck.)

Now, for this part, we take the Princess and we pair the cards on the left and right of her, and keep going, until we run out, getting a more complete picture of the "story" by this pairing. This is where the "unused" cards come in. None of them are "unused" at all. Every card is here for a reason, and we are about to find out:


So, starting with the Princess of Cups, I will begin listing the pairs of cards on each side, and then a little piece of the story. You will see how it will spell out things that took place in the thread last night after Bartender came in. I actually have to thank him for coming in and doing that, because without his "help" we wouldn't have had such a good demonstration of this spread and the Work. :)

The Chariot (VII) <> The Emperor (IV)

-He embraces the qualities of The Emperor; structure, law, and order, and mastery of Will over Nature. He establishes the stability of the (4) and shows the way. The Chariot is ready to move forward.-

See what is left? What does this card represent? It is likely the most important one in the whole deck.

It can represent your "Guardian Angel", and the man who has retreated from the physical world to perform his self-reflection and inner work, one who has committed himself to finding "God" and connection to his "Holy Guardian Angel" and returns to share the Knowledge with those who will listen.

You don't need all that info to do a Tarot reading. You are doing numerology and probably plugging in the info into a numerology program.

There is likely much more to be received from that spread. This was from just looking at it for a few minutes. :)

If *anything* was changed it simply would not have worked.

This incorporates a specific ordering of the cards, and also counting (this is all documented stuff) and jumping over the cards to form one dimension of the story, and then a final pairing of those cards to close it all up. It becomes self-contained, and self-referential. It is not random by any stroke of the imagination.

If one were to go through the cards and try to "set up" something like this, and have it work out this way through the counting and pairing, it would take so long as to be simply, humanly, impossible.

It may even be impossible for a supercomputer, knowing the values, and meanings, to even construct something in a specific way like this. The number of calculations and checks to make it all work out this way, on both of these "dimensions" (the facing+counting+pairing) may be impossible. It is something to think about (I'm a computer programmer type.) ;)

The number of possible "shuffles" of 78 cards is far greater than the "perceived" number of "atoms" in the "universe', so the number of searches for a computer algorithm might be much like breaking cryptography...who knows? I wouldn't even want to test it. It is silly. I can just "shuffle" some cards and end up with these "random" cuts and spreads? ;)

If anything is B.S., it may be things like that... "atoms" and other "scientific" sillyness. ;)

This was one of the more fascinating spreads that I've ever done, and considering the subject, it is almost expected (to me.) ;)

This is actually the second "part" of something much more extensive, and the first will not be posted. I had to stop here, because I "failed" but that is not a bad thing at all.

This utilizes the 12 houses of the Zodiac, and all 78 cards. I will list very simply what each house deals with (though when considering the subject, the houses may have a slightly different meaning, and I will list what the top cards are, only.

The first 6 houses contain 7 cards, and the last 6 contain 6 cards each. I did not take down the lists of cards for any further exploration, because as I said earlier, "I failed" and that means that the message is done.

The sum of the cards reducing to 4 is The Emperor, and this kicks back to the previous 11+1 spread for Horus. "His" self card was The Emperor. Fascinating.

Some of these cards here, just on the top of these packs after they were turned over, were so profound that they simply needed NO explanation whatsoever. There were many messages here that seem to be about us, the world in its current state, its current problems, and what needs to be done.

I'll edit this later with a better interpretation, but "Career" as The Sun? Well, how much more obvious can you yet? And having Wealth as the "undoing" kind of seems to be a warning about greed. Creativity as The Aeon seems to speak of the "Aeon of Horus" to me. ;)
