There are still a few others that I did earlier that haven't even read the responses or PMs, like Munsoned. I can't seem to contact them. :(

This is the #1 thing was afraid of since these take a while to perform well. People ask and never check back even after I say that they are in the "queue." :)

I need to do more work on John J's because his was the most complex out of any that I have EVER done. I almost need to sit down and perform an Opening of the Key for him..

I've been interested in learning the art myself, just can't decide on the deck. There are so many opinions and I don't want to get some crap game cards.

I can try yours. I will just use midnight as a guess. It doesn't always have to be close. I pulled one on a guy that was totally anonymous and was just a random jerk. :)

He was The Fool, and it was perfectly fitting.

I recommend the tHOTH deck. There are reasons that so many people hated Aleister Crowley, and it wasn't because he was evil, or bad, or a "satanist."

He was releasing the secrets.

I'm working on writing yours in just a few. I will list the cards first, and then fill in details with an edit. Yours was difficult to interpret, and it was very late. I had to stop.

It may be inaccurate and I may have to try again for clarification. So don't tell me the issue, I'd like to try again if it is off.

Didn't read the reading yet.. but quickly looked at it and I saw the Hierophant appeared..


During my dream tonight something happened.. I was running forward and then I suddendly turned back.. as I turned back I saw a crescent moon on the sky, I tried to fly but I couldn't, at that time an image covered all of my vision.. it looked like a tarot card but I can't figure out which one it was..

It looked like two man, each riding a horse and look forward.. maybe it was only one man and I was seeing two.. Idk, image is not too clear..

I remembered that when I looked for the image of the Hierophant card..
Even though I'm interested in the tarot I'm not familiar with most of the cards, so I thought I'd speak about the experience here and see if you can put some light on it.. (:

Ok, was done around 10:15pm Pacific, 10/22/2012.

First, the cards:

1.) 4 of Swords (Truce)
2.) 4 of Disks (Power)
3.) 5 of Wands (Strife)

4.) 7 of Disks (Failure)
6.) 4 of Wands (Completion) [reversed]

5.) Knight of Swords
7.) 9 of Disks (Gain)

8.) The Moon (XVIII)
9.) Knight of Cups
10.) Prince of Disks [reversed]
11.) 3 of Wands (Virtue) [reversed]

12.) 9 of Cups (Happiness) [reversed]

This was a very simple card spread, so it doesn't really look like there are any MAJOR pressing issues, but I will look a little closer and see if anything stands out. Even if it is just a simple suggestion..

One of the biggest (and most simple things) that stands out here is simply the three 4s in the reading. This means simply "industry." That is obviously most likely work-related, but it doesn't even have to be your job. It could be a husband's, or a son's, but the Prince of Disks in position 10, typically might indicate a younger man (it isn't always like that though). I have no idea of telling this, so it is kind of silly to speculate on specifics like that, especially since these cards are relatively "benign" and neutral overall.

I'm going to jump ahead for a second:
The clarifier card is the 9 of Cups which is Happiness, so this fits very well with Failure moving to Completion. Whatever the issue is that you sense some sort of failure in, should come to completion and result in something positive. There are hardly any trumps, so te matter is certain under control.

And now back to Strife. A funny thing about strife is that it can represent boredom, like sitting at home. :) Failure here moving through Strife could just mean that you need to wait a little longer. None of these cards indicate any sort of specific failure. It is illusionary. This could be partially represented by the Moon in position 8.

The Knight of Swords is very sharp and intellectual. It pierces through the strife and into material gain. So if this was a monetary or physical issue then completion and happiness and gain are all very positive. You just have to figure out how to best approach the situation. So look at the cards that I will link for you in a bit. The logical and decisive qualities are obviously there, just don't lose sight of the target.

The Moon is how you see yourself, so this can back up the subconscious sense of failure a little bit. Illusory. Here, this card might represent a hesitation or fear of "making a step", and maybe even a little bit of both.

Others see you as the Prince of Disks (not as a man, lol) but simply in the emotional sense. The dangerous part of that card is that he can be prone to manipulation of outside influence (like still water having a rock thrown into it), so it is kind of like saying "stand up for what you believe in" or "stand up for yourself" especially if you feel a little powerless, but don't be manipulated.

The Knight of Cups is the hopes and fears, so it is hard again to say if this is a person, like a husband, or simply just a little bit of extra emotional worry.

Virtue in the "result" position is good because it is will, and striving toward a goal. Guided by understanding and awareness, it say that it is the perfect time to go ahead with a project or plan.

So what was it that you wanted to do, or your husband or son (if you are married or have children?) I cannot say simply by these cards, so it would be up to you to give more information.

Sum: 54 (9)

The sum is 54, which is The Hermit. This card has shown up a lot in these readings as the quintessence. It is again a card of retreat from the outside and saying to move into self-reflection and contemplation. There is a LOT more to say about that card, but you will see a lot of the other stuff in other postings, so I don't want to keep repeating it. Another part of the Hermit here is to not be manipulated by outside forces, and this fits well with the Prince of Cups in your spread. I guess that is probably the key point! And maybe some extra patience, and less worry. I will add links to specific cards soon.

This card spread was very difficult and I think it could have been a little better, I almost wanted to do a second one for clarification. If you hold back your comments until my next posting in a few, I will add a clarification if I can, since this one was kind of hard to get a handle on. :(

Ok, something interesting happened. I was going to do another 11+1 spread but while I was shuffling, Truce flew out of the deck onto the table. :)

That was your first card in the original spread (and I did other many other readings in between yours, so this was sufficiently "randomly shuffled"..)

Anyway, I knew I was on track there when that happened.

So another card flew out again, and it was the 2 of Swords (Peace).

Then another pack of 5 cards came out, so I stopped.

So here are the 7. These are not positional, I'm just going to list them, make a quick comment and give you links.

1.) 4 of Swords (Truce)
2.) 2 of Swords (Peace)
3.) Ace of Wands
4.) The Magus (I)
5.) The Hermit (IX)
6.) Prince of Wands [reversed]
7.) The Hierophant (V)

Truce doesn't always imply Peace, but that is exactly what you have next, so it is a message in my opinion.

The next card is the Ace of Wands, the Root of the Powers of fire. That card encompasses all fire cards. "Just do it" Might be a good (overused) slogan. ;)

The Magus is action, creation, and possibility (also trickery and the master of illusions, so be careful, remember the Moon card.)

The Hermit is here again which is reinforcing your sum of the other spread. So look closely at that card.

The Prince is Wands is reversed, so he says to make sure not to lose your temper, or to approach things with the fire of conviction, but not so much that you cause damage in your wake. lol

Having the Hierophant at the end is great. You will see him in other readings (please read Antonio's). The Hierophant is spiritual guidance, so I guess you could say that that is what I am providing.. or trying to, anyway. :)

Me too...in MANY ways!! Constantly seeing it on clocks (7:11, 11:07, 10:17 when it used to be mainly the 11:11's and 1:11's, etc.), license plates of a couple of people I interact with on a daily basis, my own birth date and the birthdate of a guy who I hardly even know that has an extremely intense affect on me (his is 01/17) and a Cards of Destiny composite card reading between said guy and myself that's comprised of an Ace, a ten and a seven. (The Cards of Destiny book is written by Robert Camp and based on a system created by the Ancient Order of the Magi - it's pretty cool if you want to check it out!)

Anyway, I would also love a reading and / or would love to know what your experiences have been with the 11's and 7's...
