Tarot Readings... (Currently closed..)

Hi Antonio,

Yours was the first reading for last night, and it was performed around 9:45pm Pacific time, 10/22/2012.

It was a VERY GOOD spread. It looked a LOT like my own personal spreads recently, so I hope it is not "noise" or aspects of my own personal readings bleeding through. Sometimes that can happen, but I was intensely focused on your astrological chart while I was shuffling the cards, so I would be really shocked if that was the case..

Edit: I'd love comments on this interpretation for you, because I'm going to be beating myself up all day wondering if I missed the target..

It was very a spiritual spread, as you will soon see. I could probably write 20 pages on this spread alone. :)

The Sun is a great card here, it represents many things, such as happiness, and even spiritual transformation, especially in context with the Hierophant here at the end. Power is a good card here because I don't think it really represents the physical, in this case. Not many earth cards here.

Power is one of the few earth cards here, but I think this here represents more of a type of stability, or stabilizing force. I don't have a lot to say about this one, but it is a decent card.

Here is a good quote:

"The Four of Disks has reached the realm of Chesed, the fields of condensation, growth and stability, standing in the structural discipline of the Four. The work of the Three has paid off, the fruits are rich and manifold."

With the Prince of Cups, maybe the worry is subconscious, and entirely out of your conscious mind; it may only show up in dreams, or through the use of psychedelics, etc. Some sort of internal nagging about "internal work" that you might not even be aware of. I wouldn't "worry" about it at all, because there is NOTHING here to worry about; except that single card. :)

Worry could simply just be a recent frustration with something (daily nonsense or an argument), or simply not being able to do something that you wanted to do. In relation to the Sun, and happiness/joy, etc. that is probably all it is. Nothing critical.

The Knight of Cups here is pretty strong, it is here with the Prince as well. With Art as the "obstacle", this simply says to me to bring your own emotional needs into harmony, both with the inner and the outer world. Look at the next few cards I'm going to talk about for some extra clarification here.

You see yourself as the Princess of Wands, and I've already written about her a bit, but she is dynamic, and zestful. Kind of like a free-spirited seeker. New challenges and beginnings, good stuff.

Others see you as intelligent and logical, eloquent and sharp. That is good, but with Art it will be important to balance the logical aspects of the mind with the creative aspects. Left-brain, right-brain stuff, basically. Don't hold back or cling to any one particular aspect. I would look closer at the reversed cards. Use the aspects of Art to help balance the qualities of ones that are reversed. The Art card is very representative of alchemy.

I'll add that seeing the Knight of Cups in the physical line here means maybe more outward expression of emotion. Maybe you were holding back a little, or you meant to say something tha tyou should have, but didn't because you were worried that it might offend. We all do that crap. I'm really bad about that crap.. Usually, I see that sort of card on the mental line, 4 & 6, or positions 8-11. Also look close at positions 8 and 9, but I kind of already mentioned that.

I'm really surprised that Worry was here at all, because I don't really see anything here to worry about. I'm not even sure I can tell what it is..

When I saw the 3 of Disks (Works) in relation to the other cards, especially the Hierophant it made me think of "The Great Work", but I can't assume that you know what that is. If you don't, then I would research it. :)

The Chariot on its most basic and superficial levels can represent travel, but this spread is far too deep for that. Maybe you do want to go do something, or go somewhere, but I want to focus on the aspect of the Chariot here that stands out for me:

"Inwardly attuning oneself towards a goal.."

..and that goal being the Hierophant.

The Hierophant in this position is great, it is a very spiritual card, so connecting this with the Sun is wonderful. I could write about the Hierophant all day, but I can't. Instead, I will list some keywords (I think this is probably the most important card in your spread):

Trust, search for truth, having a deep experience of meaning, power of conviction, virtue, expansion of consciousness, strength of faith, harmony, revelation, following one's calling, trust in one's own abilities, developing trust in God..

"Also is the Star of the Flame exalted, bringing benediction to the universe."

"But certain men heard and understood, and through them shall this Knowledge be made known."

"By a Magus is this writing made known through the mind of a Magister. The one uttereth clearly, and the other understandeth; yet the Word is falsehood, and the Understanding darkness. And this saying is Of All Truth."

Fortune as the clarifier here goes well with Art and the quintessence, which is next. Harmony and cycles. Death and resurrection through rebirth (symbolically.)

The Universe is always in a constant state of change, as that is 'All That There Really Is.'

Sum: 57

The sum of the cards is 57 which reduces to 12, The Hanged Man (XII), and that reduces further to 3, The Empress (III). This is very symbolic for transformation through reversal or new evaluations, and also brings in aspects of "The Great Mother." Not bad at all. I would look very closely at both The Hanged Man and Empress cards along with Art, Fortune, and especially Hierophant. The Hanged Man can be a kind of passive card, so it isn't as forceful as the Tower, or the Death card for symbolizing change.

Ok, something interesting happened. I was going to do another 11+1 spread but while I was shuffling, Truce flew out of the deck onto the table. :)

That was your first card in the original spread (and I did other many other readings in between yours, so this was sufficiently "randomly shuffled"..)

Anyway, I knew I was on track there when that happened.

So another card flew out again, and it was the 2 of Swords (Peace).

Then another pack of 5 cards came out, so I stopped.

So here are the 7. These are not positional, I'm just going to list them, make a quick comment and give you links.

Truce doesn't always imply Peace, but that is exactly what you have next, so it is a message in my opinion.

The next card is the Ace of Wands, the Root of the Powers of fire. That card encompasses all fire cards. "Just do it" Might be a good (overused) slogan. ;)

The Magus is action, creation, and possibility (also trickery and the master of illusions, so be careful, remember the Moon card.)

The Hermit is here again which is reinforcing your sum of the other spread. So look closely at that card.

The Prince is Wands is reversed, so he says to make sure not to lose your temper, or to approach things with the fire of conviction, but not so much that you cause damage in your wake. lol

Having the Hierophant at the end is great. You will see him in other readings (please read Antonio's). The Hierophant is spiritual guidance, so I guess you could say that that is what I am providing.. or trying to, anyway. :)

Is there some reason why you don't want to look at it??

So, I had some ideas after doing readings on that dead physicist... One was to do JFKs assassination, and another was 9/11.

I printed out horary astrology charts for the 3 impact times of the planes with WTC 1 and 2 for NYC and the Pentagon for DC. Obviously not much change, but whatever.

So I laid those out and shuffled the cards quite a bit. I was starting to deal out a few cards, and it felt wrong.

Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed the bottom of the deck, and it was red, orange, and black.. The Tower (XVI)... O.o

Immediately, I knew it was all fucking backwards! Like the towers coming down, and like DEVIL<>LIVED...

Shit like that..

Look at the reversed cards, or the ones that weren't. And the sum is (I think) 80? That is 8, Adjustment (VIII).

Ooh, adding the clarifier = Lust (XI) too..


Now I know what I have to do.

I have done some readings for people, but I'll never forget the one I did in which the signifier was the hanged man with ALL the other cards were reversed. Freaky.
I have never had someone else read my Tarot. I would love to hear what you see. I will be getting married soon and was just wondering.
