Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 13148732 United States 10/27/2012 02:33 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Ok this is actually a difficult spread, I have to fire up my laptop. You going to be around for just a bit? Death was the first card, but I can't say if that is physical death of anything. Physically, Oppression, moving to gain. So there is a desire in a material sense. Disappointment in subconscious, but you see yourself as Change. Hopes and fears is Completion, so I need to look at this more. GettIng laptop so I can type faster:) i'll be here till you're done. thank you. It isn't so much showing problems, but more of what you need to do, which is a bit different that usual. Similar cards are coming up, and the Hanged Man, showing self-sacrifice and an issue with change, but it is still relatively vague. May have to get some sleep and try again :P It is pretty late, and I was drinking earlier ;) Sometimes it just happens that I'm too tired and dont see it properly. |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 13148732 United States 10/27/2012 01:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You should a reading on The Nobody Quoting: 1908247 I'm serious though if something like that is even possible It seems that it absolutely is. There is another "message" on the bottom of the deck, as has been the case with many of these spreads.. I will be posting that as well, but will edit the details in later. This is good stuff. The "Nobody", performed ~9:45am Pacific, 10/27/2012: The "issue", Additional influence, The "obstacle": 1.) 9 of Swords (Cruelty) 2.) The Hermit (IX) [reversed] 3.) Queen of Disks Mental line: 4.) 10 of Swords (Ruin) 6.) Princess of Swords [reversed] Physical line: 5.) 10 of Wands (Oppression) 7.) The Chariot (VII) [reversed] Self, Other's view, Hopes & Fears, "Goal": 8.) Knight of Cups [reversed] 9.) The Universe (XXI) [reversed] 10.) The Lovers (VI) [reversed] 11.) 10 of Cups (Satiety) Clarifier: 12.) Prince of Cups [reversed] Extra clarification: 13.) Death (XIII) 14.) Art (XIV) [reversed] The 13th and 14th cards aren't terribly important, but they reinforce the issue an important tool to overcome it a little bit. Harmony, balance of powers, etc. Much can be said about the Art card, and Death is symbolic for resurrection or rebirth, but not necessarily through "physical" death. There are three 10s, which represents "buying, selling, and commerce", hence materialism and greed is a big message here. Considering the 12 cards that I primarily work with, they are all perfectly balanced 4/4/4 between trumps, minors, and court cards. I think this is very good. ;) The Sum of the cards is 82: which is 10, reducing to 1. 10 = Fortune (X) 1 = The Magus (I) The Quintessence for this sum: 10/1: "Recognize a portion of your task in life in the theme of the question. The time has come to dedicate yourself to this matter (Fortune). You now have the strength and the skill to master the related tasks (The Magus)." I pulled a few extra cards after the 12th and there was a bit more clarification. All of the reversed cards are basically for "The Nobody" and the non-reversed cards are more of qualities of the "situation." It will make a little more sense later. Basically the reversed cards are what is necessary to overcome and reach the "result" which will be further detailed in the next spread (which is on the bottom of the deck.) I've yet to look at the bottom yet, but I know it will be there. ;) Details forthcoming... I will be editing both of the threads with more details and explanation... |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 13148732 United States 10/27/2012 01:33 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You can see the obvious message in "physical oppression" and "mental ruin", with "The Universe" being as "we" see "Him." He is the Knight of Cups which is essentially the "King" of the water cards. Also the Prince of Cups, so a little extra fighting force. His "goal" is Love and unity among man, obviously. And Satiety is the "end" of the minor arcana for the cups. VERY GOOD. The Hermit is internal self-reflection, even can be considering a card representing one's "guardian angel" of sorts, and many other things. I've talked about that card much. The Chariot is taking risks, and also the holy grail, and many other things. It is fantastic. We have to look at the Queen. ;) It is likely not a "person" but a quality or set of qualities which will be important in overcoming Oppression and Ruin, through the Hermit, Chariot, Universe and Lovers, among other things. ;) Queen of Disks: [link to www.corax.com] Heck, for my own birthday and stuff, the cards representing that date are the Hermit and the Prince of Cups. I personally see those cards a lot. |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 13148732 United States 10/27/2012 02:04 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is the second "polarity" of the reading for "The Nobody", performed 10/27/2012. The "issue", Additional influence, The "obstacle": 1.) 6 of Disks (Success) 2.) Ace of Swords 3.) 9 of Disks (Gain) Mental line: 4.) 6 of Swords (Science) [reversed] 6.) Prince of Swords [reversed] Physical line: 5.) 4 of Disks (Power) 7.) The Hierophant (V) [reversed] Self, Other's view, Hopes & Fears, "Goal": 8.) Ace of Disks 9.) 3 of Swords (Sorrow) 10.) 8 of Disks (Prudence) 11.) Knight of Wands Clarifier: 12.) The Magus (I) The Sum here is 43, which reduces to 7, The Chariot again. So we have to look very closely at the Chariot in the other spread; as the card to defeat physical Oppression. ;) 7: "Concentrate on your goal and set out immediately." I don't think that needs any explanation at all... Still more details coming on this spread, but we can see the upside down cards may be worthy of extra attention... Science and Religion may be an issue here, either helping to create or reinforce this "physical" Oppression and "mental" Ruin. Science being overtaken by materialism and greed, operating in a way that is not beneficial or harmonious, and religions oppressing people? You decide. Success and the piercing intellect of the Ace of Swords is the issue here on this side, which is somewhat of an additional roadmap or pathworking to completing this journey successfully. :) The obstacle here is Gain, which should be obvious. Though one could definitely say that materialism, greed, wars, death, destruction, false money systems, slavery, lies, secrecy and deception is a "successful" journey as well. So is that what you want? What side of that will you be on, if that does end up being the case? The "Nobody" sees himself as the Ace of Disks here, which is the entirety of physical manifestation, and more. It represents the whole of the disks suit. Root of the Powers of the Earth. "...the Disks not only represent plain materials, but the entire world of Assiah, the actual, physical earth of daily life, and the actual, physical body of the human being. This implies home and profession, daily works, familiar bondings, health and well-being in common. And in this context, the Ace of Disks tells us that something will be created, something will begin." So from this, could one say that "The Nobody" is (or could be), all of us? The Soul of Man? Others see it as Sorrow. But that isn't set in stone, things can always change. The Universe *is* Change. Prudence is here because of a need to be cautious or careful. The Knight of Wands is the King of the wands. "...the Knight of Wands can stand for highest inspirations, spiritual realisation and purest creativity..." I'll return to the Ace of Swords here and quote: "The Ace of Swords is the seed of the intellectual power...which implies thinking, analysing, realizing through logic and mind..." "...the card can stand for a first idea or realization, a new view of things, or simply tell us that we should let our mind work rather than following our emotions only. It also reminds as that the Ace is only the seed, that it needs growing and experience to proceed." The Magus is the clarifier, and he may need no explanation, but I will definitely link to that card, and provide a quote which sums it up very succinctly: "The Magician represents consciousness, action and creation. He's the symbol for the idea of manifestation - the possibility of making an idea come true. He gives meaning and direction to life, and he reminds us that the emotional and creative powers of our souls must have a physical basis to be of real use. Powers unused are powers non-existant, we have to set them free in order to use them, and to gain and renew." There is still much more that I can say about both of these spreads, and I will likely spend a few hours analyzing them later and be editing both of these posts. :) The Magus: [link to www.corax.com] The Chariot: [link to www.corax.com] Knight of Wands: [link to www.corax.com] Ace of Swords: [link to www.corax.com] Ace of Disks: [link to www.corax.com] |

I hope I can get to those today. :( Ok, I just ran one for you and it was simple and complex at the same time. I'm going to link to the most important cards so you can build your own picture and understand better than I could explain from an outside perspective, since this is going to refer to things that I have no real way of knowing. :) "Issue", Additional influence, "Obstacle": 1.) 6 of Wands (Victory) 2.) The Emperor (IV) 3.) Princess of Swords Mental line: 4.) Adjustment (VIII) [reversed] 6.) 4 of Cups (Luxury) Physical line: 5.) Princess of Wands 7.) 2 of Cups Self, Other's view, Hopes & Fears, "Goal" or "Result": 8.) The Star (XVII) 9.) Knight of Cups [reversed] 10.) 2 of Wands (Dominion) [reversed] 11.) The Moon (XVIII) [reversed] Clarifier: 12.) The Chariot (VII) The Sum is 61, which reduces to 7. 7: "Concentrate on your goal and set out immediately." Simply combining this with Adjustment (reversed) in a more subconscious position here, meaning you may not entirely "know" that you desire adjustment, and then the Moon which can represent a fear of making a step into the unknown, then the Chariot card becomes even more important as both the 12th card and the sum of the spread. Looking at Victory and The Emperor, both fire cards, and both very representative of will and leadership, strength, and law and order, you have a very clear message simply in these very basic cards. I don't have much to say about Luxury, except that is does imply structure and order, so it goes very well with the Emperor here. I will link it anyway so that you can see how it fits so well into this spread. The passion of the Princess of Wands could be relationship related, but it is hard to say. It can simply be something physical, like a passion to do something, moving toward Love. It is hard to say and only you would truly know what that is or could be. The obstacle is interesting, because it is the Princess of Swords, she is cutting down obstacles but has to be careful not to be reckless. This is very fitting here, and it is almost a warning to keep things in check, and not let the flames of Victory and ruling hand of The Emperor burn too strongly and get out of control. You see yourself as the Star which goes well with the Princess of Wands. this is symbolic of hope and trust, and the Chosen Path, so look at the Chariot and now you know that the path is correct ad the Chariot is free to proceed, just don't run over anyone, or crash! ;) Others see you as the Knight of Cups, which is an emotional and strong card of Love, so this could also be a relationship, but it is reversed so pay extra attention to keeping emotions in check and balance. See Adjustment. Dominion is the Hopes and Fears, and this goes with Victory, obviously. It is reversed, so again it must be kept in check (Adjustment) to keep the Chariot on the path and proper speed. :) The Moon again is reversed so look closely at that to understand how to conquer fear. If the Moon is not Full, use the guiding light of the Star. :) The whole spread is balanced 4/4/4 trumps, minor, courts, so there is nothing stopping you from taking control of the situation and redeeming it completely. Just read the negative aspects of the card: Prince of Wands: [link to www.corax.com] This is the Chariot losing control and crashing or running over everyone or everything. ;) lol |
