HOW CAN THIS BE?????
According to Wikipedia (yeah, but I am a lazy researcher), there are maybe 300 to 450 people in the world aged 110 years or more.

In a radio interview with local WBT Anchor Tara Servatious, Susan reports that she has been keeping track of the number of votes in North Carolina of individuals over the age of 110 years and apparently we have quite a few, over 410 of the 110 year olds--to be exact-- actually voted via absentee ballot on October the 28th. Yes indeed, now it would appear that good ole NC has the market cornered on the Centenarian vote.

At latest count, Susan has garnered a total Absentee Ballot vote of over 2,660 people over the age of 110. Someone contact the Guiness Book and warm up the Ford, the Fountain of Youth exists and its right here in lovely NC. It's no wonder people are moving here in droves--maybe the use of tobacco isn't such a bad thing after all? But, on a more serious note, with all of the irregularities going on all over the place, we can now begin to wonder about a few things.

Apparently those ultra-healthy seniors over 110 have aged and are now astoundingly over 112 years old, and are still able to make it to the polls ahead of time.

In the graph with the story, note the HUGE increase in voters 112 yrs old!

Of course the dead also vote overwhelmingly Democratic, and have for several decades now. I guess Obama will carry the 110 year old and older demographic as well as 100% of the deceased vote.

Someone in North Carolina better call the Guinness Book of World Records folks as they report there are less than a dozen currently living people in the world age 110+.

i dont think anyone cares, we all know its happening, we all know it has happened before. no lawyer is going to touch this, as they will probably be found without a career or found dead.

theres nothing we the plebs can do. we cant protest, we cant criticize them, we cant form a group of like-minded caring people who want to fight for this.

I love how you left out the part where one fourth of the people aged 112 voted Republican. Voter fraud... Or well known computer glitch with voting machines made by this company that default to 1900 when a year isn't entered.

If you look at ages 111, 110, 109, etc, you'll see that the numbers line up with the actual super-centenarians, and the numbers on both R and D at 112 are well above a statistical glitch. So either both parties are committing serious voter fraud, or... Again, it is the WELL KNOWN COMPUTER GLITCH THAT YOU COULD HAVE FOUND IF YOU DID ANY REAL RESEARCH :P

I am so sick of it.

I'm not liberal, never voted democrat in my life - but I have lost so much faith in the Republicans for this type of BS.

Does the left do the same thing? Sure it does. But the right was MY party so it makes me feel very betrayed when I see this over and over and over and over by them.

It's not that they're too stupid to know when they were born - just that they registered many years ago (say, back in the 60s or 70s) in some states where DOB was not required at the time. When election rolls became computerized, there was no DOB for these voters, so the default date of 1900 was used - hence why so many of these people were "110" during the 2010 elections and are now "112" in the 2012 election.

I totally get this - I've worked as a data analyst for years and old legacy systems often have placeholder dates (or other fields) that allow the import of data even when certain (now required) fields are empty. The alternative would be to not import the data for those voters - exactly what would you want? That all those WWII vets not be allowed to vote because they had registered prior to requiring the DOB field?

Now, what DOES need to happen is that the folks running the elections need to be updating the DOBs when folks come in to vote - and that does indeed happen - else there would be a MUCH higher number of folks listed as 112 ;-) But, sometimes, people skip an election and they sit on the rolls for cycle after cycle without being updated. And sometimes, election workers just don't do their jobs very well. :(
