La Sinkhole Situation Just Got Much Worse! Update: Dangerous Hydrogen Sulfide Gas Detected, Seismic Activity Picking UP

This is real doom, not stupid video pretending to be from the future about the day after the Mayan calendar ends.

Is 20-30 really enough? I think the hole is just too big, we need more than that to plug it.

I was gonna suggest getting a lot more to plug the hole but you beat me to it.

A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link - in this case the, the crustal plate. Remember, plate tectonics have been active for billions of years and are constantly on the move.

It'll stop by 18:30 like clockwork. Every day 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Just noticed that pattern yesterday. Thus, has to be man-made tremors. The big question is --- WTF is causing that much of a tremor?

Probably easiest to call the geologists that set up the recording stations.

i got it! Katrina was for the black people (to get them out of the area), and the sink-holes is for the white people, but the white people donot know itis coming, media nor government is announcing it, nor sending out public warnings, even though this sink-holes probability/threat is 100 times more lethal than Katrina.

To me, it looks like the rainy season has started and the water pools up into that wetland area. Seems like you have more water than normal so some trees died and it has expanded a little bigger than normal.

This is probably because of some development around there forcing more water from one area to this specific area because it is a low area.

Bubbles happen because of peat moss decaying. This happens all the time as I live in Washington state where we have a lot of wet lands. Dry in the summer and then as it rains it looks just like these pictures and videos.

Day after day more PINS on this subject and nothing is happening. I watched the videos, looks like water run off to this area more than anything because no one is saying water is coming up from this hole. So where did the water come from.... It is just run off.

I am from Louisiana. I have since moved, but I still live on the Gulf Coast...well within the 500 mile radius of potential 'doom.' I have been 'lurking' on ALL of the threads pertaining to this catastrophe, because I have extended family in the area, who I am watching out for, as well as myself and my immediate family (who could be in danger should the unthinkable occur). I will admit that I did post a reply to the 'bunker' explosion, where I said that it was a munitions bunker explosion, citing the local news source.
I am rethinking that position!

If anyone is interested in the geological make-up of this part of La. I have some info that is quite interesting. There are fault lines ALL across southern Louisiana. There is also subsidence to factor in. The subsidence is minimal, however, it IS much more than they had previously thought. This was covered in one of the threads, with a link to how New Orleans is sinking faster than scientists and geologists previously thought.

If anyone wants to read this, it is well worth the time. This is FULL of invaluable information on how salt domes are formed, on how the faults run in the state, on the different geological factors at play that could have an impact on this, as well as sinkhole collapse.

I would love to discuss this with people who want to take the time to read this.

The salt dome is collapsing and filling with hydrocarbons and they can't figure where the oil and methane are coming from, or so they say. This is on the Miss Aquifer and test have proven that there is methane in the aquifer now. Gas is bubbling up in the bayous as far away as Pierre Part. This is located on one huge methane field as does much of La.
There is a possibility of explosions. That is why they evacuated people from the area.
South La is delta and the ground is not stable to begin with.

And they are doing a fingerprint of the oil that is collecting in the sinkhole and so far, it does not match any of the storage sites around the area.

Basically, it seems to me that we need to be worried about the fault line that runs across from Baton Rouge, parallel to the gulf. Also it seems to me that some of the the saltdomes could be of unknown depth, perhaps running all the way to the lowest level of bedrock crossing or up against oil pockets, gas pockets, other salt domes or aquafers, allowing leaking and seepage. Kinda like we have found that hole that goes all the way to China.
