OMG Incredible 3D Fractals!

i dont know how ive done it but the settings i have it on now are fascinating.

you can fly around forever, zoom forever it is bizarre.

i will probably publish a slideshow thing to youtube.

yea its limited massively compared to a 3d program, but this thing is FREE and its easy!

im rendering at 4.0 TFLOPS. im curning out 40 mega pixel images with raytracing, tone mapping, anti alasing, DOF, in about 10 minutes flat.

stuff your professional overpriced cinema 4D.

Thankyou for everybody that liked the images. good to know im not completely mad being obsessed with making them.

Im going to try and compress down a 62 megapixel image down to 10megs for hosting on image bam.
It should have loads of amazing intricate detail for you to zoom into.

it will be ready soon.

How foolish of me, totally forgot this one.

im now going for 82 mega pixel, and hopefully the highest jpeg compression to make it under 10mb. (all image hosting sites have 10mb limit).

incredible videos. They look like they used the same program.

These fractal demo's you can run in realtime, if your computer is beefy enough, the programs are both 4 kilobytes in size thanks to code wizardry, you can find them on the demoscene community: pouet.net

The first ones are made in such a program, the last ones I don't know as they usually code it themselves, the demoscene is all about keeping things with very small file sizes, even normal demo's tend to use procedurals to create models and textures to keep the file size down.

ok turns out i can probably go higher than 80mpixel with this higher jpeg compression.
so i will try that, once its perfected i will upload.
