Get some help, grow some a pair, grow the fuck up. Mentally ill or physically ill. I think it takes a little more than enjoying fatty food to get a person that obese. There are glandular, biochemical issues involved when a person gets that fat, as well as psychiatric ones in some cases. The lack of compassion on these boards is shocking. Maybe some of the more self-righteous ones here should take a look at themselves in the mirror. Stories like these that provide all of the gory details (like "maggot-infested", "weighing 500 pounds", and "lying in her waste") are meant to ridicule the person being reported about and to provoke cruel reactions. Did we really need to know her weight, or that she was lying in feces and covered in maggots? No. This story was published simply to get the reaction it's gotten. Don't blame the readers for the response that was intended (revulsion and ridicule). Blame the publishers for provoking that response.
