So my entire living room wall is windows facing west. Today I was sitting on the couch, where it has been for 8 years going, and had to block the sun from hitting my eyes as it was blazing through one of the shorter windows...about 430pm Eastern. This has never ever happened before....ever, in all the 8 years I have lived here. I have always ALWAYS revered the sunset though my living room windows....especially in autumn when it is most spectacular. I have taken countless photographs and have observed the sunset through these windows for many many years. I have never seen the sun shine through one of the shorter windows - during any season - at any time of year - before today. It has been cloudy the past week or so, so there has not been a real visible sunset for some time. Until today. Never has the autumn sunset blinded me on my couch. It did tonight. Something is definitely off. Also worthy of mention...right this very moment the eastern sky out my kitchen window is pink...like sunset pink. In the east. Just sayin.
