Sorry guys this is getting no traction.
The state dept and CIA didn't want to come to disastrous conclusions too soon, plus the video had definitely incited violence in Egypt and tripoli. They were going on the best evidence at the moment. The CIA has stated it took 2 weeks to confirm it was terror, and that preliminary reports are often erroneous.
