I will not vote ever with a computer, we fought to have them removed and we won where I live. The government themselves admits that 10% of electronic voting machines fail each election cycle sometimes resulting in the loss of the vote.

Things to Look Out For

• The PEB slot on the face of the iVotronic is particularly sensitive. The EVEREST study showed that a voter with a magnet and a properly programmed PDA (with an infrared port) could gain privileged access to the sensitive functions of the machine. If you see anyone spending a long time in an iVotronic voting booth and engaging in activity that appears to be centered around the upper-left part of the iVotronic, they might be messing with the PEB slot. Of course, they might also just be voting, so don’t cry wolf.

• The VVPAT printer (RTAL printer) is connected to the iVotronic via a cable that is connected to the top of the machine. This cable, unless the jurisdiction has purchased special cables or connectors, can be disconnected by a voter and various types of mischief could be performed (from printing extra VVPAT records to messing with the internals of the iVotronic). If you observe anyone disconnecting this cable, alert the pollworkers immediately. If a pollworker is disconnecting this cable, it should only be to swap out a printer and you should be able to observe the whole process.

• The PEB device is particularly sensitive. An attacker who gains access to a PEB for a short or extended period of time can change votes on the PEB or attack the central Election Management System when the PEB is returned to election headquarters. PEB devices should only be handled by pollworkers and pollworkers should keep a vigilant watch over their use of the PEBs throughout the day (that is, they should not be leaving them around casually and the area in which the PEBs are kept should be secure and monitored at all times). If you see a voter or non-pollworker with a PEB, notify election protection immediatey.

I did not know this. That is interesting. I may take advantage of this law. Last time I voted I asked for a paper ballot. To my surprise I got one, but then I had to scan ot into a scanner which was recorded by a computer. I asked if they kept the paper backup. The ladies at the polling place did not know the answer. Weird. Thanks for the info.

People, rigging voting machines can go either way. Remember the Ohio vote in 2008 was hotly contested as being rigged by the Republicans that owned the voting machine company? Also there was a Congressional investigation about how the voting machines were rigged to make the Miami vote go republican; as there was a computer programmer at the hearing who testified he was paid by someone to change the vote count using sophisticated programing procedures. He said there is no way to really catch this vote rigging going on at the time of the voting; only later on. He said the best way to see if an elections was rigged was to poll each voter as they left the poling station, see how they voted then check it against the official statistics of the computers. He did not talk about how paper ballots could be rigged; but someone mentioned they found sacks of ballots in dumpsters in heavily democratic areas of various cities.

Voting machines are going to do there job according to what TPTB want. Not everything is piling for Obama you idiots. Is romney the savior? No, hes another lier that will do whatever it takes to ruin the country.

Why have ALL of the ≥110 year olds in the entire world moved to North Carolina?

We all know electronic machines are used to steal our votes. If they weren't, they'd issue receipts for verification. Why do people still tolerate these?

I need further clarification on voting machines. In my state we do paper ballots and personally hand them in.

I think the following is the truth:

1) If the machiness are rigged - they WILL NOT let the voters themselves know it unless intended.. Otherwise it is not rigged to do anyhting other than expose itself as being rigged...

2)If the machines, for either party, openly indicate the other party is criminal - that means he who smelt it delt it.. cuz the machines will not just openly indicate this... no one would alter the machines to specifically incriminate themselves.


3)if people fall for this in particular, they are missing the real point...

4) the real point is that if there is any gerymandering or fixing the machines, and it is obvious and identifiable in some cases, that means there is massive fixing of the machines, and the vast majority is NOT identifiable, because people usually dont program viruses to let the infected know they are infected....

Its not enough that the people get 2 puppets who are the exact same to pick from they have to pick one of the 2 for us as well
