Maybe you should be walking out too, if you have to. I'm sorry about the gray forecast, but I doubt you will have to worry about that trivia for lonf, sad to say. I think we are all going to get a taste of NOT GOOD fairly quickly.

I have been thinking a lot lately how so many people are trapped someplace they really don't want to be. Trapped by not having any money to move, no job, seemingly no way out. Millions of people would be moving today if they were millionaires.

Some stay because their whole family is around them and won't listen when they try to warn them that trouble is coming.

I think I read on here, or someplace this guy said he just barely had enough money to live week to week. Had nothing but a rented apartment, lived in California and wanted out. He said he was going to pack his suitcase, stand on a cornet, and stick his thumb out.

So many people trapped in places and situations by poverty, ...and love.

On the subject of hitchiking, I have been seeing something a lot more lately. It almost brings me to tears, sometimes it does bring me to tears. Hitchikers walking along with their dogs beside them.

Who here would move tomorrow if the had a hundred million in the bank today ?

I have been nervous since the restaurant walking to the car thing. I post when i am nervous, hence, this thread.

Here in Western North Carolina, went out this morning (around 10:30 AM) for 10 minutes to hang clothes on the line and got SUNBURNED!...10 MINUTES and my forearms and face are red as beets like I was in the sun for hours! Something is DEFINITELY wrong!

I just gave you a damn 5 star. Now quit bitching.

I had some trash in some weeds yesterday that I decided i would sack up in those big black trash bags. There was an old garden hose, a really long one , with hes in it, and some old tarps. Have you ever tried to stuff a 200 ft hose,i am not good at lengths, into a black garbage bag, well, it is teally hard to do. It wasn't all that hot but the sun was beating down on me and burning my skin as I wrestled that poison ivy coveted hose i.to that bag.

Then i started trying to shove those two old tarps into another bag. That took awhile too. I filled 3 bags, was dripping sweat like i had fell into a lake, took an aspirin to stave off a possible big one, lifted them,heavy, all into the truck bed and took them up by the dumpster for the trashman.

Got up to go the bathroom about 3 in the morning , was sitting there and thought, something feels hot on my face. Looked in the mirror, and my face was RED with sunburn.

North Carolina is a place I COULD live. It is stone-cold beautiful. I love it and the Gatlinburg Tennessee atea. It is my favorite vacation spot (Gatlinburg) . I have been there on vacation so many times I have lost count. The last time i went i had bougjt a fairly big travel trailer and I had never pulled anything behind my truck before so i was scared. It was a long trip from my home.

I am female so i have more trouble with things than a man does. I mafe it and stayed at a really nice campground called CRAZYHORSE. Right after i pulled in two men from different campers came over and wanted to help me hook things up, and then one man's wife brought over some tomatos and cucumbers. It was that way the whole time I was there. Incredibly nice peoe who went out of their way to be kind and helpful.

One day before it was time to leave i got a really bad flu. I was so sick i could bately move. I remember driving all those hundreds of miles so sick I thought I might not make it, and being really scared pulling that trailer behind me. I prayed a lot and made it home and vowed, never again.

This is what happens when some people have internet access and a keyboard, .

I hear ya! I'm in the U.P. and it got 64 deg. today and not one ray of sun. This area is heavily wooded with low population but I got a feeling it's going to get crowded and property prices are going to skyrocket!

We live on top of a mountain which we moved to 8 years ago because my husband and I both woke up one morning in Southern Mississippi with our young children and suddenly felt an URGENT need to get to high ground! I might have dismissed it if it had just been me but we both felt that urge at the same time. You don't ignore those kind of "coincidences"! We had vacationed here for years because of it's beauty, now it is home! Guess you could say we "bugged out" before we knew that is what it was called! Haven't looked back since!

Not real comfortable with our close proximity to the Oak Ridge Nuclear Power Plant, but other than that, I think we are in the safest place East of the Mississippi for what could be coming! God bless!

Same here,it will be only by the Grace of God himself if i am not taxed into having nowhere to live. Every year it goes higher. God be with you.

I saw an elderly homeless woman yesterday pushing a baby carriage with all her worldly possessions in it and i wanted to just bawl. First time i have ever seen that. I remember reading that the fastest growing group of homeless is elderly women, many probably taxed out of their homes.

It was one spring night, quite beautiful. My husband and i were sitting beside each other on the front porch with our german imported black german shepherd sitting between us. A magnificent dog, So beautiful and sweet. It was around twilight and we sat there in silence listening to the crickets and frogs, and the wind blowing through the trees. All of a sudden a very bad feeling came over me. I said out loud "there is death in the air tonigjt". Never said such a thing before or since. I thought , our parents are not well, maybe it's them. I got right up and called my parents and talked awhile and told them I loved them. I came back out and told my husband to call his mom, a widow, which he did. Then we sat there and i petted our dog as we sat.

Next morning two elderly women ran over our dog and killed him. The "death in the air" was sitting right between us, and i had my hand on his head. Our sweet dog.

Have you ever heard the saying that we chose to be born and live in this time ? I just cannot see me lining up for this, what i think is coming soon. I would think, if I had a choice I would say I think I'll pass.

An earthquake that will be so far off the richter scale it will be laughable, that will start a chain reaction all over the world.

Another thing, what would you do if you were in a public place, say a restaurant, and you were doing a check of the earthquake sites when you see there had been a mega 16 mag quake somewhere in the USA ? Would you stand up and tell the whole place ?

I dreamed last night, a nightmare, that Randy Quaid ,along with 6 of his buddies and I were in the same room. I had a package of Lays potato chips that I wasn't sharing. Randy wanted a sandwich, i said "make it yourself then", which he did,then he started eating it like some kind of animal.

My dreams wear me out. I wake up exausted from all the dreamworks.

Something i have wanted to say for a long time. I noticed a pin thread about a missing child.

I have read here, there, and everywhere, for years that there is technology that is 40 years ahead of what the general public is aware of. If it is true that satellites can read a license plate why can't they look at satellite photos of a specific rural area and see who killed that little girl in Colorado ?

Should be easy to just go back and look at the photos during that short time span, that particular spot, and see the person, license plate, and catch the murderer.

Why dont they do this if tjey have the technology. Why would you not bring the truth to light ? Bring these people to justice with satellite photos and some of this futuristic technology?

Why can't they use those satellites to find these kids if they are so powerful they can read newspaper print ?
