Re: Warrior Training - Vivid/Lucid Dreaming
Maybe not the right place to ask, but I'm thinking about asking my docter for Valium, I have an axiety disorder, which often causes depression, major lack of foucs and what I need to do.

Was wondering if anyone has good things to say about taking Valium and if it would help increase my focus on things like art, animation, and learning overall. Usually my mind has too many anxious thoughts going threw it to be able to sit down and give my full attention to what I'm actually trying to accomplish. Depression is a big thing too, it comes and goes with very little warning or reason to be depressed.

I already smoked weed for close to 2 years, maybe 3, I've recently stopped and my tolerance has gotten so slow that it actually is usually worse for my anxiety of depression, seriously one bowl will sometimes give me shakes, compared to being able to smoke all day, everyday. Can't do that anymore because I can't work, and can't afford to smoke up everyday, and I don't get the same creative drive that it use to give me.

Any other suggestions are welcome, biggest thing I need is focus, being able to have my thoughts on the same page as what I am seeing infront of me and not all over the place like usual.

Thanks

Re: Warrior Training - Vivid/Lucid Dreaming
I have Lucid dreams, though not as often as I'd like to. The one I remember the most was I could manipulate where and the era I was in. I sang with Duke Ellingtons, big band. Then next I was standing on a hill above Pearl Harbor one day before the attack. I was holding a box in my hands that was an apparatus to teleport me to different moments in time.

Then I was suddenly at an open air market on a different world or dimension. The people were clothed in flowing colorfulll garments I could see their eyes and knew they were not human. I walked among then for awhile, not fearing anything.

This was all occuring in the same dream and I controled my whereabouts.

In the many lucid dreams I've had, I've ALWAYS experienced intense energy and adrenline rush for hours afterwards. This is the one thing I've never read or heard mentioned upon waking from a lucid dream.

Has anyone had that intense rush of energy/adreline thats lasts for hours afterwards?

What did their eyes look like, if not human or alive?

Their eyes were slanted at the inner/outer corners, but wide in the middle. They were a dark chocolate color without pupils. Their heads were wrapped in a flowing scarf which covered the rest of their faces, so I could only look at the eyes. I felt they were a peaceful culture as I roamed among them. I'm female and I was wearing the same clothing they were, but I didn't have my face covered, it was very clear I have blond hair and big blue eyes, meaning I looked human and they were not.

Oh, they were definatley alive, walking around and shopping. There were many of them and only one of me.

Why do you ask?

Re: Warrior Training - Vivid/Lucid Dreaming
I've been "training" for lucid dreaming for two years.

The last one was kinda eye-opening.

I was being led by a doctor and I was a zombie of sort.

Only in that I couldn't speak. During the dream, there was multiple doctors around me. I finally found my voice, but really had to work at it in the LD to pronounce my words right.

We went thru a large underground complex. I ended up speaking somewhat normally, and was in front of a group of doctors.

I can remember them vividly saying "this one has promise, but we just don't know if we have the funding for any more candidates."

I started to protest, and of course I was wheeled away, as I was still 'a work in progress'.

Its hard for people to grasp the fact that LD'ing is a real and trainable action.

Those that can, can relate.

This one has promise for being a perfect "slave" to the itinerary.

Not only is he proud that he has "promise" of being a proper slave, he actually posted it on a nationally known forum to let others know of his compliance.

Cant tell if trolling or serious.

Either way, it's not being proud at all.

It's being aware of the situation and me trying my best to break out of it.

No. They didn't speak. I knew they were a telepathic race. I also was aware I was not on earth or in our universe. When you dream Lucid you never forget the vivid details or colors. As I moved around through different eras in time through out the dream I just was suddenly in this place..... there is no other way to explain except to say I had my full mental faculties, the ability to discern in the same manner as when I'm awake.

Is your abdomen flat, your % body fat less than 15, can you run a mile in 6 minutes, and can you bench press 185 more than 5 reps? If so, you may be ready...to start.

Re: Warrior Training - Vivid/Lucid Dreaming
I've always had vivid and lucid dreams, usually 2-3 times a week. And this one was special.

Somewhere, out in the deep woods...there was a training camp.
Somehow, there were people from different eras ...at the peak of their game...ready and willing to train a small handful of students...including myself.

It all happened quickly but the Navy Seal and Native Indian training stands out the most.
Especially the part where I flipped a female native Pocahontas chick over my shoulder to the ground and as she gets up she says "You're ready".

There was a coach watching the whole thing and he kept saying "We don't have much time left...hurry up!".

Honestly, it felt real and creepy.
Sorry for the brain fart.

was the "training" just in lucidity and doing things in dreams?or were there more specific things you were doing during this"training"?

please come back and post OP, its an interesting topic, i hope this isnt a post and run.

Went to bed after posting...the whole dream was lucid. Talking to the other students and performing the combat skills they were training me. When I tossed Pocahontas to the ground, I remember thinking "No way she's getting up from this!"
