Then if I make it to the cave and survive,
just basic survival doom.

Mostly the economical collapse.

Nothing that used to be worth anything will be worth as much anymore.

So my barely-paid bills are now even less likely to be paid. Leaving me less for food and necessities.

Even if that part could be worked around, I would be worried about crime rate and safety especially when I am home alone. I can defend myself but it doesn't mean I WANT the situation to arise.

I have a few things I have set aside to barter, if it comes to that...I have been collecting small bottles of liquor (hotel bar size, all different brands and types) everything from grey goose for the good stuff and military special (generic whiskey) for the "penny" stuff, so to speak.

I just don't know what I should focus on. One day it's stocking up on food and the next it's the price of metals going down...I just don't know. But I think this is the most likely SHTF scenario.

I also have a 3 year old...that kinda complicates things.

2: Chain of earthquakes in the U.S and sinkhole exploding.
3: Many plagues, outbreaks. (include zombies here)

6: (Bonus) Full apocalypse new age, high vibrational and strong energy reverberant biblical events changing the whole course of mankind.
