After looking at my last message I must of been out of it last night. As mentioned I'll try to flesh out each subject a little more each week or when I have time. So it's easier for anyone too follow along. I think I may have a few more subjects to add as well. One will be about changing your body's electrical frequency. I'm sure we've all heard the hum of electrical wires, we have a similar hum so to speak that can be altered. So much to explore in our own minds, I can understand why some people get lost in there. Right on brother, I appreciate the clarification and I apologize if I came off snippy. Honestly that part should've liken been taken out, it was part of an old layout I had of the post, as they all had little captions similar next to the titles. I think it still needs some work, but then I always think it needs more work. :D Controlling your emotions is largely about confidence and practice. If you get down to the core, no thought should really be any more difficult then another thought, we often just make them more difficult. We run to our emotions like moths to a flame in the hopes of understanding these feelings. We immerse ourselves so deeply with-in them it can be difficult to see clearly. This is when taking a step back by setting the emotion aside, can help you gain a new perspective and achieve understanding. Communicating with your subconscious How we talk to ourselves is a very important factor when considering your base emotion. Our subconscious takes what we say or think as literal fact, so phrasing can be very important. Our subconscious is very good at putting the whole picture together, but does poorly on smaller issues, similar to an idiot savant. There are obvious negative words we tell ourselves and then there are some not so obvious negative phrases. Some examples are: I will try – implies you may be able too and you may fail I can – implies it may not be difficult I’m not sure if I can do that = diminishing your role and confidence I don’t have the time to do that = a neutral to empowering approach It was powerful = weakening your role It was intense = taking a neutral stance and not weakening your role Also saying do instead of try will keep the subconscious problem solving until it feels the problem is solved as it’s always problem solving. We simply toss it tools for clarification at times so it may problem solve more efficiently. There are many more examples of negative phrases and words, the good news is once you start looking you’ll notice more. It’s simple stuff like this that undermines so many people, phrase it in your mind a few times and see how it sounds and feels. So keep it simple and direct when trying to communicate with your self and use phrasing that is neutral-empowering. Developing tools to combat negative emotions. Use your peripheral vision to focus on the colors of you surrounding to shift your mood, yellow is uplifting, violet calming etc. If you think of something negative, immediately think of something neutral-positive to counter the negative thought. Use old memories if necessary to knock lose persistent negative memories, be persistent. Later on you can use negative emotions in this fight, for instance my old depression feeling is great for relaxing me if I become overly anxious. But you really should get a firm grip on the other tools “emotions” around you before you try this. Pull up a couple strong emotional memories, the strongest you can think of, these are your emotions you will use to combat other emotions. You will start with 1-2 and reinforce them by recalling how they felt You will use these emotions to combat any negative emotions you may feel. No need to over do it, just practice here and there, the mind gets tired. I use 4-5 really old strong childhood memories to get a handle on any stubborn emotions. By practicing on occasion, I reinforce the neural pathways making it easier to recall and hopefully stronger and I avoid using any one emotion too often. As you advance along you can expand on the emotions you will use and even create your own emotions by mixing emotions. Remember these emotions, also offer new perspective so explorer some of what you know while under their influence to gain new insight. Another great tool in the search for insight is empathy, pretending to be someone or something else, in order to understand things from their perspective. This is currently my main emotional control. Imagine a small ball in your mind, this ball rests in the center of your emotions where everything is calm. It rests in a small divot, so it doesn't move as easily. Whenever your emotions stray you simply roll the ball back to the center, it only takes a couple seconds.If you have a deeper emotion, just imagine another ball deeper. You can keep going with this, if you follow Tantra these are similar to chakra's, align them to gain a higher state of awareness. Also, If you have difficulty take a break and let the subconscious find where these new pieces of the puzzle fit. If you still have difficulty, try gaining new perspective by recalling old memories or empathizing and problem solving while feeling those emotions. This might be a little advanced depending on how far along you are, however when you get to a certain point you need to add more resistance. I like this one because it incorporates most of what I talked about in the previous post. And it’s really nice for backaches or sore muscles as well. Exercise: Imagine giving yourself a back massage, using your own hand in-side your mind to help pin-point the sore muscle’s on your back, by feeling which muscles constrict or retract on your back when pushing your hands against your back in your mind. Can you feel it digging in? Then make a (warm or cool) energy ball and imagine your hands flattening the ball on your back, cold works best when targeting inflamed muscles. You could imagine someone massaging your back, focus on how it felt with their hands digging into the sore muscle as the surrounding muscles react to the force of their hands. Pull up a memory and visualize it so you can feel them digging into you back. From here I will focus on the individual muscle’s being used in order to contract them more. As I’m also working on my muscle controls to improve reflexes at the same time, by practicing. The mind is a powerful tool when used correctly, nearly everything we use now was once just a thought in someone’s imagination. So in your mind it’s ok to be that cocky SOB that thinks he can do anything, because you can, just be mindful of the bleed off into your conscious. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Premature brain fart theory here. Problem solving the future (Precognition) Is precognition simply the subconscious mind problem solving the future, like it always does? The subconscious mind is always problem solving trying to understand the puzzle “life”. Is seeing bits of the future simply the mind doing a very efficient job of problem solving and can it’s learning be reinforced? It may explain things Deja-vu which would just be a dream the subconscious mind has previously explored and ended up being very similar to how reality played out. So it gets the minds attention because of those similarities. If that’s the case then precognition can in theory be a learned ability to some extent. This semi-stranger you call your subconscious and hug him, tell him that you are sorry and that you love him or her. He will forgive you because he knows it’s not your fault, there’s just so much information to filter. You may be surprised at what happens, you start listening to yourself more often, taking your own advice. He starts doing what you ask more often, just remember it’s your job to present this information in the least confusing manner as well as protecting him. Which means I'm rushing things, so I will stop expanding on this for now. I figure I would post the corrections and give one clear example of a miscommunication and see if you can find any others. The Superconscious mind, I can't confirm all of these. The body's temperature control, numbing touch and most of the others involving lower brain function do work, some call this Ki or Chi. Which is the manipulation of body's basic functions controlled by the lower brain, including the bodies electromagnetic field or aura.
