And whose side would you believe that which comes out, to be on?  The world serpent is either the equator or the Order of the Garter, depending on whether or not you feel the need to differentiate between the two. We've already tilted the axis 3 degrees, and who's to say it won't continue to shift? So yes, it may indeed give rise, in a sense...  If it does continue to escalate, Guatemala may never been the same...
