But protesters appearing to be from the Occupy movement hijacked most of the community meeting in the city's Central District. Arguments broke out in the audience. Some residents voiced their concerns over loss of privacy if the unmanned aerial vehicles are used. "You're in my backyard while I'm naked, barbecuing!" yelled one man. -All I could come up with is that Seattle is one of just a few public agencies that as FCC approval. One Site I found said 50 cities, but didn't name them. Other then some cities were in California and Idaho. FCC says agencies cannot fly them above 400ft and not during darkness. Must be within eyesight of the operator. Not over people or crowds. The Seattle PD will use the Draganflyer X6 [ link to www.draganfly.com] Last Edited by deanoZXT on 10/26/2012 04:03 PM-Everything's more awesome when you lean into it. |
