When this object approaches you wont need a telescope. The center of gravity for the sun will be altered and there will be utter chaos. You will have to go underground to survive, or off planet. I favor off planet.

Ok, so you have a guy positing a planet with a huge orbit which intersects with the inner planets. Based on how our solar system is stabilized, such an object would completely have destabilized the system a very long time ago. We wouldn't have such a thin orbital plane. The theory completely goes against orbital mechanics.

Second, a news article about another theoretical planet that orbits beyond our solar system. I'm assuming this is in the Kuiper Belt or beyond that? Either way, Japanese scientists "believe" the theoretical planet is there but has not been discovered. Still no physical evidence.

I have always been in a "what if" mood. With that I mean that I do find a lot of old civilisations history very interesting. But, I don't live my life waiting for doom.

When it comes to Niburu, I really thought that, that would be too weird. This huge elliptical orbit and stil holding the planet from just "flying" out into space. But that was before Sedna came along in 2007. Yes, I know its way out there in our solar system, but it too has a long elliptical orbit of approx. 12000 years. So after that, Nibiru also goes in my book of what if's...

If we have Sedna, that astronomers did not discover until 2007, we might as well have Niburu, or what?

I do belive that we would know if "she" was right around the corner, so I don't belive that this "what if" passing is due in december of this year... But what if?

Well, anyway, in my little world of what if's I do hope and pray for nothing to happen in December. We have our popular date; December 21st 2012. Please let us not have any solarflares, big quakes or something...

My ex is taking my two small kids to Brazil for x-mas. They will be gone until dec. 30... So much for not living my life after what if's... now I can't help myself from really torturing myself about it, and they haven't even left yet.
