All requests to offer support was met with “STAND DOWN” from the Obama White Hut.

So now we know that the military WAS activated, and were told they could not do what they are trained to do in this kind of situation.

And since the SEALs were right there, and told not to do anything, at the very least their denial of permission wasn’t an issue of crossing into Libyan territory. Somebody was not allowing ANYBODY to try to help.
