Yep. Every day is filled with what should be extremely embarrassing events for this administration, but they've always slithered out of it. This time, and at a very bad time for them, they have been cornered. Meanwhile, it seems that Romney is the one enjoying rock star status more and more; after all, how hard can it be after the distance this country has fallen in just four years?

So yeah, like I said, they are desperate, and desperate people are very dangerous.

You are correct. What happened in Libya was a horrible tragedy and the politicizing of the event is just sickening. The right should feel ashamed of themselves, using the deaths of American citizens as campaign fodder. But since you idiots are going to go there... I guess nothing like this has ever happened before? Its not like the president put troops into a hostile country and got 241 Marines killed....

It's the lack of candor and transparency at issue, not the event itself.

That fallacy is called "tu quoque"; its purpose is to deflect an argument by shifting attention to the faults of the opponent. In other words, whether republicans have been guilty of similar things in the past hardly means democrats are not to be held to account.

The truth is that the democrats began the politicizing. They had that ridiculous trailer made up and a scapegoat provided to cover this whole thing up, so that Oblamebush could apologize and point at imaginary Islamophobics to blame. Even now, after the truth has come out, our secretary of state is trying to blame the stupid film trailer. And Oblamebush's flippant remark about how "not optimal" the murders were takes the prize for politicization. He is a blame shifter, always has been, and is desperate to retain office even after being shown directly responsible for the deaths.

Yeah, lots of possibilities. The timing would seem to suggest either the storm issue or the Benghazi nightmare. But on the other hand, there have also been reports in the past of the US calling all diplomats home for a meeting, and nothing ever seemed to come of that as far as I know.

You're right. Let's give Obama a free pass this time. It's not fair that this is happening during an election year. The coverup of his arrogant negligence shouldn't be discussed right before an election.
