Lucifer was a Babylonian King, most likely pre-deluvial. Lucifer attempted to construct a spaceport in Babylon, like the ones "The Gods" controlled. He intended to challenge the Gods directly and ascend into the sky.

"The Gods" quickly put him in his place...namely the ground.

This is analogous to the Tower of Babel Story.

Lucifer is neither the devil nor Satan, nor is it/he some celestial body that crashed out of the sky, though there may be a celestial correspondence as there typically is in all things.

Devil is an english word, and in old english was "deofol" which is a compound word meaning "False God"

The modern English word Devil means simply "D - Evil" or The Evil.

Akin to the Hebrew "Adversary" (As adversaries are naturally "Evil" when they are opposed to our assumed "Goodness" or "Godness")

If there is a benevolent God there must logically be a malevolent equivalent. Positive and Negative. The Negative would inherently be "False" and therefore a false God, a Devil.

Devils and Demons should not be confused, nor should the Serpent be confused with A or THE Devil or a Demon.
