I can see it here in NC. Apparently due to ice crystals in atmosphere & seems to accurate prepredict bad weather especially in winter months according to farmers almanac.
Anyone else see it? Pretty bright huh?
Also noticed a lot of birds flying North west..... but maybe that's my imagination.
We had weird cloud formations earlier as well... looked like a bunch of cotton balls in the sky that were reddish. I have pics but just created this account cause I saw no one talkin about it.
I asked a random person in a grocery store today if she was preparing for hurricane and she said, 'what hurricane?'... again i'm in NC, on east coast. So yeah. Majority aren't getting it.
This columnist is not from Western NC. The paper is from Norfolk, Va. Not sure of the exact town in NC where he lives but it is in Northeastern NC, which is near the coast. This is the area expected to be affected by Hurricane Sandy.
