Now, he's listening a bit more and believing some of the crazy shit Dad says might actually have some truth to it - says he'll refuse it because I told him so, and will call right away if they try to make him take it anyway - still without consent. I will tear that fucking building to the ground brick by brick if they push that poison on my kid again this year - and I told the Vice Principal I'll start with his office. He said he understood, and was very appologetic, but somehow I feel that they intend to challenge me on that. So be it. I got my sledgehammer ready, and assistants on call. If the office staff is lucky they wont be killed by flying glass shrapnel - old computer monitors EXPLODE pretty damn forcefully when you start the reaction with a 20lb sledge. |

After all, that would be only a minor flesh wound - thats nothing compared to what they're doing, willingly... Whats good for the kids is good for the administration. BSN senior year here (non-traditional student, 45yrs), we're forced to get them "or else" (find a different career) by local agencies to get the flu vac, so I'm opting for the nasal live, at least no mercury, but I can say that I haven't had a vaccine since childhood until starting the nursing program, then I had to get flu/HepB/TDAP...then something happened to my thyroid, high TSH levels (I'm assuming autoimmune response to "something"...vac's? who knows)...under control with Armour Thyroid 60mg/day, and I see the endo this week to find out wtf is really going on... Sucks that patients and visitors to hospitals aren't required to be forced medicated but we are, and of course they use the explanation that we're in constant contact...that's total bullshit, out of the millions that died in 1918's Spanish flu pandemic, only about 200 some odd nurses died from exposure because of the hand-washing/contact precaution protocols that we had instituted back in the 1800's...no flu vaccine then and we weren't spreading it nor dying from it. Thanks Ohio legislators for turning a blind eye to what is really happening with this flu scare crap. I suppose this is their solution to the perceived nursing shortage...make sure there are less? Can't wait to get my license and get my ass to a State that doesn't mandate that I poison myself based on the lies of the pharmaceutical industries. Nice to see there are other nurses, especially on GLP, that know the score and speak out. Thanks.  Interesting about your thyroid. I had the hepatitis B series, 3 shots, when it first came out in 1984-85. I developed a goiter about 1 year later and subsequently developed Hashimotos. Interesting, I was looking at this series and following my TSH level rise throughout the time waiting to complete all three. Spoke to the endo today and mentioned this angle on the "why" and his reaction of inquiry rather than dismissal lead me to retain his services and to compare some notes on research I've done and incorporated into my daily supplements that halved my TSH before I even got on the Armour, he's not too thrilled with my choice of pharmaceuticals but is willing to wait out some lab results to see if he'll prescribe it long term, he did say this is the first time in his career he's written one for the Armour Thyroid and not Levoxy, he just warned me that if my T3 levels show higher than 14:1 ratios he'll attempt to convince me to do the Levoxy with Cytomel instead. First though...we're waiting on antibody tests to see if Hashimotos is the culprit. |

Depending on the number of elderly patients in the test group, that may not actually be a very high percentage of deaths.
