The banks figure people under water on their martgages are
probably going to walk anyway, so the banks are trying to get what they can now. If this is really going on, it
probably indicates the banks don't see any recovery in home values anytime soon, hence homeowners walking away from mortgages. Banks make much more from mortgage payments than through holding real estate.

I'm sure it has a ton to do with QE3 and how the FED reserve is buying these mortgages at 100% compared to the possibility of them not paying later and the bank losing their asses! Screw the bank, my house and most of my loans are through a credit union

I keep telling you guys the reason for something like this.
It's called "Loss Carry Forwards" where "C" corps carry this line on their ledgers and "S" Corps carry these on the passthroughs to the CEO's and Owners with their K-1 long tax forms.
If a bank or any financial institution needs losses to offset gains so they wont have to pay taxes, why wouldnt they call in your loan. These loss carry forwards are going to insure that large corporations and all financial institutions never pay taxes again in our lifetimes.

No matter how high Obammy raises taxes (Pay special attention to this line)

They are becoming a hot commodity (LCF's) and are worth .33 plus for each dollar of loss. Lets say company "A" is making all kinds of profits. They look into the market for a company "B" that has large losses "carried" on there balance sheets. They aquire this company for pennies on the dollar, not for their business or sales but for the "Loss Carry Forwards". They then combine their Corporation with the new entity and walla they can write of any profits for as many years as it takes to depleat the accumulated losses. (Look at a company called "Tiger Direct - Systemax - CompUSA")

You will more than likely see more and more of this especially if Bammy raises taxes on the elite that hold large corps and financial entities.

LCF's are the new lollypop to avoid taxes legally !

They need lcf they can go here and pay triple the stock price and still come out ahead. So many mismanaged companies out there, why not buy them?

This makes no sense. If a mortgage is not in default and the homeowner is making payments as stipulated in the contract, then it doesn't matter what the "value" of the property is.

The Banks Appraisal is considers a new Offer...You may decline any new Offer.

Aside from that, Banks don't own the home because the Bank never loaned you anything to begin with. They used your credit to open your account that provides your own credit (value, in effect) to yourself, thru your signature so you can use the home, not own it. Banks are the Third Party Interlopers between the two Principals, You and the Treasury.

Demand the Bank "Produce the Note" or "Produce the Loan". They can never do it. No Loan, no payment.

OP, your post is hitting home for me. Today, I received a letter from my mortgagor telling me I'm late by two months. I've never been late on anything.

Matter of fact, I'm paid up until december. They are claiming they haven't received any payments!

Someone is going to pay be bigtime. I've put a great deal of money into my home. Again, my bank statements are clear that I have paid on time, every time.

This is a mess and I just can't believe people are such money vampires.

The criminal banks are now stealing people's properties who have never been late on a payment! How? Through "appraisals"! They are requiring homeowners and commercial property owners have new appraisals. When those appraisals (in cohorts with the appraisers in getting them low) come back lower than the loan amount, at the property owners expense.

They give the property owner 30 days to pay the difference of loan to value of the property otherwise they take over the property and kick the owners out! They are doing it to homeowners and commercial property owners!

Arguably one of the most important in the NT. It's the one particular verse that I as an agnostic believe to be true; and the reason for his crucifixion. He went on record (let it be written) that he opposed the bankers creating money, usury, and aknowledge that it was a method of slavery; he incriminated them. Something to think about.

Technically, Jesus should have been stoned for the crime he was accused of doing. Crucifixion is an entirely different punishment; it implies a high profile "message" (JFK, 9/11) being sent by the moneychangers of the time.

In general Mexico is WAAAAY better off than the US in this aspect because most people pay up front for real estate and do not have bank mortgages.

Whether by default or design, this tradition of paying outright for properties also prevents all the wild over inflation of property values from taking place.
