Haha, makes you always laugh, that they are covering it so bad.
Ok, this works if nobody´s watchin it, so it is just off the screens..

i went there to click the animation of it and the 1st pic of it is still there.
then when you click it to play it it takes you to the weather that was on "FEB 10 2012"
so looks like they scrubbed it and threw in something from feb 10.

radar is a complex mechanism, achieved with many modes and mechanical methods. so the variabvlity is huge.
often magnetron fails. hail damage. bad aperture ratio. signal blooming. low probing current, birds. bird poop. ants . electronics failure. water damage. etc etc etc etc can all cause different kinds off radar effects

it is a huge field. you guys are just speculating blatantly on rubbish. radar rings and shades have been happening since there very creation and every time i see a thread jumping on some screen-cap with ZERO research in anything to do with the subject i just cant bite my tongue

educate yourself , google people
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2913820

Deliver a link to the explanation on how those rings appear then, smartass.

how many explanations do you want. how many different types.

What you say, may be true AC...820 but I, for one, have never seen a "thingamajig" like this on a weather radar before.

different pulsing. delay . rotation speed . rader mode and power. and antenna type. combined with whatever the faiilure is can make very interesting patterns.

but if u think mathematically u can almost imagine the kind of sequence the radar is doing. pulse delay time delay and power variables make nice spirals

When I see these types of errors in spelling and grammar, it demeans the validity of the opinion. Maybe it's just me, but if you don't even have a firm grasp of the language you speak, then how the hell can you have an educated opinion on something more complex than your own language?

All kidding aside....was this actually pretty much REALLY centered over the volcano? If so, no matter how many quirks or malfunctions CAN occur, it is unlikely that it isn't either created to "look like" or a very real result of whatever entered into the volcano. IDK just too much evidence at once to discount.

its well known

some of these radar towers are not directly manned.

and ants have on many occasions short circuited magnetrons.
