There can be no king even in this fallen republic. The military would coup, IMO. If not a full blown coup, then a split within the military and the intelligence agencies.

But he is already a de facto king, with his csars and EOs, openly dissing the Constitution and showing utter contempt for the unwashed masses, as even his "let them eat cake" wife does. I think this election will show which side of the coin has more power to sway the masses (even if our votes are counted, they certainly aren't used to determine the winner but simply inform the vote counters what the people think), meaning it may only determine which puppet runs the US and which one possibly moves up to the UN and rules us by proxy.

Romney may continue down the path to the complete dissolution of our sovereignty.

At this point, we can only hope he is less of a puppet and more of a man.

It will be interesting to see what happens if he gets in office. What will he do once he has all the inside info and the reigns of power?

Odds are he will continue to chip away at the constitution like all the rest.

But, to be fair, he hasn't yet had the chance to make that decision.

Yes, we know Obama sucks pretty bad, Romney might be much better and could hardly be worse. So I am voting for Romney.

I myself will not vote but I would encourage others to do so, especially if you live in a state that is up for grabs.

Will the Drudge Report exist after today's election? Practically all his headlines have been linked to anti-Obama and pro-Romney stories for the last 3 months. Imagine spending your entire day (in south Florida, no less. A beautiful area...provided you go outside lol) hunting for photos showing Obama in a less than favorable light, and hunting for photos showing Willard Mitchell Romney (father of Taggart) in the best light possible.

Reminds me of that Van Halen song, "This Must Be Just Like Living in Paradise..."

Yeah, that's a very strange statement; how does when you vote affect the outcome? Otherwise he'd have to be so naive as to think that whatever the "pre-vote" is will not change when the rest of the votes come in.

The only other explanation is just as you said: fraud.

But on the other hand, I believe TPTB chose the winner a long time ago.

Will CNN? MSNBC? CBS? NBC? ABC? PBS?

Regardless of who has been chosen to win, the propaganda arms for the loser will be in overdrive making excuses and charges of fraud. With all the hurricane aftermath, "vote early and often", and denying the military timely ballots, the odds of a long, drawn-out result are very high anyway, so rest assured that no "news" outlet will be disappearing anytime soon.

I wonder if he would keep campaigning and fundraising like has been doing for the past four years.

In the history of the United States, there has never been a President before that spent anywhere near so much time fundraising and campaigning in non-election years.

Ya know, it almost seems like he never did concern himself with what he expects was only his first term. Like he's been treading water or marking time, just waiting... and playing golf, and watching basketball.

A possible scenario is that if he wins, he will make sure his race riots ensue so national martial law can be declared, and then he's in for life.

As for the scenario you mentioned, it would be impossible to pull that off without the full support of the military...

...and if 500 retired generals/admirals are publicly supporting Romney, you know his military support would at best be fragmented.

If that scenario did play out, look for those 500 to be the first inducted into the FEMA camps...followed immediately by any veteran who expresses any criticism of the puppet in chief.

Yet there was that general and an admiral who were called in due to an alleged plot against the O regime, and perhaps a symbolic sinking of the Bounty, famous in literature for a mutiny. Many in active service won't speak or act because they want to protect their careers.

I have to hope, though, that there are too many that will indeed turn against O if there is a civil war or mass riots. I think all that ammo and guns the various government agencies have been stockpiling will be for them to resist the military, if that scenario plays out.

...but I think you are closer to the truth there. As for the 'mutiny', I'm not sure what happened with that admiral. Perhaps he disobeyed a direct order.

It wouldn't be the first time. There have been several who suddenly resigned due to the refusal to follow an order. Bush had several do that during his 8 years as NWO Shepard in chief.

But, shit man. If martial law is declared and the dudes monitoring the satellite feeds and communications (not just the NSA, the CIA, but the military has the same access to all the tools) see that shit is not getting better, that martial law is just an excuse to permanently discard the constitution, then 'mutiny' becomes duty and following orders becomes 'treason'.

Talk about worldwide chaos. More than half of our military would return home to right the ship and the vacuum of power that would create around the world would probably cause war to break out on almost every continent.

And this is why, I believe, our military is so spread out around the world. How would they get back in time, unless they knew the planes and pilots would be on their side? We need to call them home now!
