Wow! That looks similar to what I saw yesterday on Route 81 near Carlisle, PA that I had posted about. There was a FLEET of ambulances with California plates riding up the highway, they are definitely preparing for sure!

Okay. Here on the SW coast of CT - very calm last night.

High tide at around 6;00 a.m. was supposed to be really bad re: flooding.

Thus far - nothing.

Now they are saying noon. Last night we heard it was supposed to be this evening's high tide that would bring in another round of flooding.

Now it is noon's tide.

No rain to speak of yet.

Perhaps it will suddenly crash down on us here, but thus far some wind - not at nor'easter strength though.

So, who knows... .

aw, stay safe! hopefully itll be overhyped. but as a type, this dude on tv is saying its the worst east coast storm in 100 years. apparently its movement 'is unusual' by moving inland, its path is blocked from what would be the usual pattern of moving out to sea
