I thought it noteworthy that after all that time gathering steam, growing larger and advancing slowly toward its "target" it then suddenly sped up, dumped it's load and petered out. I'd listen to an explanation for that if there is one.
Quoting: Hopeless Simple. It had to "dump it's load" at night when things weren't as visible and people weren't out and about to take inconvenient pics and video footage. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1421730 The storm was forecast to "dump it's load" here in the Metro Baltimore/Washington area. The NWS claimed that hurricane force winds would focus on our area last night, regardless of the speed-up that had occurred. We had NOTHING like that. Some winds and rain. My area is prone to power outages, and the lights flickered. Yes, flooding occurred, but that happens with all heavy rain systems. I've been through storms before that leave wraparound winds behind them as they pass. There are none here. Remember how big this storm looks or radar? There is nothing east of Baltimore. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1044117 very strange indeed. like i said on another thread...farmers can control the weather on a small scale using hail cannons. what would make anyone think there is not technology to control the weather on a larger scale? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1421730 None of us here can say for sure one way or the other. Or prove it. Keeping an open mind is the only option, I suppose.
