The architect basicly told Neo the Matrix was created to keep all the peoples' mind occupied whilst they were used for energy production. A perfect world could'nt sustain the human mind so an imperfect world was created and Neo is the "ghost in the machine" created by this imperfection. There is a book, 'The Holographic Universe' which outlines the nature of the script at play. The book goes on to get a bit kooky in places where the author runs off on his own. However, when describing real physicist's theories and finding it's a real eye opener. The holographic concept in unforgettable. A holographic picture is created using a holographic negative just like any photo is created. However, something funny happens when you cut the negative in half... The whole image remains.? Wait, what? Yeppers, this is fact. Actually, you can rip tear and shred a holographic negative into a hundred pieces and yet, the whole image will be on each and every single one of them, a little blurry perhaps on the smaller pieces, but still. This lends a big clue as to the nature of what our eyes are actually seeing. Personally when I look at a blank {white/black} surface, I can make out a pattern made up of the colours red and blue. This does not affect my life or how I live it. Nice find OP. |

Do we have any control over events of the simulation as in a video game or are we passive observers as in a movie? If we are actively participating in this simulation then I would venture a guess that there's a higher proportion of inmates than tourists/students on this planet. If I were given a choice to attend a class or take a vacation, I'd choose something of interest. Therefore I must be an inmate here... |

Your prison provides inmates with a reality where certain "lessons" may be learned. You can then test them to see if they learned it without anyone suffering the consequences in the real world. Spittin'Cesium User ID: 14589973 Netherlands 04/10/2013 09:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | [link to www.huffingtonpost.co.uk] Quoting: pink cat How? They made a computer simulation of the universe. And it looks sort of like us. A long-proposed thought experiment, put forward by both philosophers and popular culture, points out that any civilisation of sufficient size and intelligence would eventually create a simulation universe if such a thing were possible. And since there would therefore be many more simulations (within simulations, within simulations) than real universes, it is therefore more likely than not that our world is artificial. Now a team of researchers at the University of Bonn in Germany led by Silas Beane say they have evidence this may be true. In a paper named 'Constraints on the Universe as a Numerical Simulation', they point out that current simulations of the universe - which do exist, but which are extremely weak and small - naturally put limits on physical laws. Technology Review explains that "the problem with all simulations is that the laws of physics, which appear continuous, have to be superimposed onto a discrete three dimensional lattice which advances in steps of time." What that basically means is that by just being a simulation, the computer would put limits on, for instance, the energy that particles can have within the program. These limits would be experienced by those living within the sim - and as it turns out, something which looks just like these limits do in fact exist. Hello Pinkus The underhighlightedslant above is in where you will find the light in ze varren - it states it relies upon a)A 3 D lattice Construct that b)in turn requires that it progress in sections or 'moments' in time. It may be viable if(fuck,I sound like a prick)you were to believe in moments or individual steps in time lime Planck Time but,I would have thought that-that being 'Particle' in nature would be understo0d to be a little iffy, noez!? I have yet to truly capture a moment in time and I do not think one ever would as that would be essentially 'the past' and it could not co-exist within the now or future or whatever the fuck this edge is...!////....? _________________ Time goes one way I think? If time is not just a concept, that is? If it is a Concept alone then it does not in reality exist..if you see what I mean!? Did I manage to get the point across Or was that just mumbo jumbo,lol..!? Perhaps once a civilisation reaches a certain technological stage and figures out that the Universe isn't real, a collective malaise sets in and they just .. end. Of course, the simulation creators could think in ways that we can't comprehend, because we're programmed to think the way we do. If we created a simulation where creatures could only look left and right, but never straight ahead, they wouldn't even conjure up the concept of looking in front of themselves because it simply wouldn't exist as an abstract concept to them. I would love to know what a higher intelligence knows that we cannot comprehend. And also, have they created us in order to demonstrate that something created them? Is God at the top of the chain? |
